Twenty Six - Date Part One - Nervousness

Hope's P.O.V.

Me and Andy sat down in the living room as Tripp and Tyra sat down at the kitchen table, making a list of movies for me and Andy to rent for the night.

"Why is it that theirs so much bad television?" Andy complained after twenty minutes of saying that their isn't anything good on.

"Well, how about.. That one?" I questioned, sharing his feeling of irritation at the tv.

"Ahh, that one isn't good. Trust me, I know.. It sucks." Andy said.

"Okay, then... How about The Simpsons?" I asked.

"Eh, okay. I was hoping V For Vendetta would be on at this time of night but apparently not. Oh well." Andy replied.

"Ahh, it'll be on later." I reassured.

"You two are like an old married couple, speaking which.. Andy?" Tripp asked.

"Hmm?" Andy mumbled, tilting his head a little bit away from the tv but still watched as Bart got a tour of Juvenal Hall.

"When the hell are ya gonna ask my sister to marry you? It's pretty damn obvious your gonna ask sooner or later.." Tripp complained, I laughed a little.

"I don't know, It's never really come to mind..." Andy said, looking away from the tv to look at Tripp and Tyra.

"Yeah, my friend Ebony has been wondering the same thing.." Tyra said.

"Ah, well. I'm not ready anyway, I'm only nineteen.." I said, waving a dismissive hand.

"Okay, I think the list is done. Any more movies you can think of?" Tripp asked.

"Did you remember Red 2?" I asked.

"Uh.. Yep."

"The Family?" Andy asked.

"Yeah."

"What about that one where... "

"Yeah, yeah. I know that one, yes."

"Does this happen everyday?" Tyra asked.

"Oh, yeah. Most days.. Some days Andy doesn't say a word.." I said.

"Well, some days I have nothing to say.." Andy said.

"Okay, here's the list." Tripp said, he handed me the list.

There was a lot of movies. "Nice.." I said, I'm so tired right now.

"Hey, uh. Just wondering.. But, is it true you got shot in the stomach?" Tyra asked, a little hesitant.

"Huh, yeah. It still hurts when I do something but otherwise I'm fine." Andy said, 'I didn't know it still hurt..'

"Lynda.. It's fine." Andy reassured.

I slouched in defeat, 'there's no stopping him about stuff like this..' I thought

"Ah, well. Call me defensive.." Andy said, joking a little. I smiled a little and kissed his cheek.

"So cute.." I heard Tyra whisper to Tripp.

"Thank you." I said.

That startled Tyra a little. "I have special hearing." I explained.

"Oh, cool." Tyra said in a fascinated tone.

"Well, then that means we'll be able to go." Andy said, excited of what we had planned to do for the night.

"Yay!" I said, automatically happy and not tired.

"So, what are you two doing tonight?" Tripp asked.
