You Can't Sleep

Derek:

It was two in the morning and I was tossing and turning in bed. I woke up shaking from the nightmare I had. The Kanima had thrown Derek into a wall and was coming after me when I woke up. I looked to my right and Derek was next to me and hadn't woken up yet. I sighed in relief before snuggling closer to him.

It had been a few hours and I still couldn't go to sleep, but I didn't want to wake Derek up, so I went to get a glass of water. I was as silent as I could, but that didn't stop how clumsy I was. As I was taking down a cup from the cabinet, it slipped and crashed onto the ground. I heard movement from the other room, and tried picking up as much glass as I could.

"What happened?" Derek, walking into the room, groaned rubbing the sleep from his eyes. I thought he'd be more aware of his surroundings being an Alpha and maybe think it was an intruder, but no he was lazy and didn't care.

"Just a glass, go back to bed," I rushed, making a movement for him to leave. Instead he bent down and started helping me clean up. Once all the glass was in the garbage, Derek wrapped his arm around my waist and dragged me to bed.

"What were you doing up?" he asked as we settled in bed.

"Nightmare. I couldn't sleep," I replied snuggling into his chest. He pulled me closer and we stayed up for the next hour talking until we fell asleep in each other's arms.

Scott:

Scott and I have been best friends ever since I moved in next to him. Our rooms were right across from each other so we would always talk at night, but tonight felt different. I don't know what it was, maybe the full moon, but everything was tense.

"Scott?" I questioned when I heard a thump at my window. I went towards the window and looked out. Scott's face popped out of know where and scared the living crap out of me.

"What are you doing here?" I asked letting him in. He only stared at me intensely. "Scott, are you okay?"

He nodded, but walked forwards. I stayed still until he was only a foot away before I started backing up. "Scott, what are you doing?" I was uncomfortable. My knees hit the beginning of my bed, and he pushed me down. I tried crawling up the bed, but Scott grabbed my ankles and dragged me down. He climbed on top of me, and I began to struggle.

"Scott! Scott! Get off me! What are you doing!"

His grip tightened, and his eyes glowed red. I froze. "Your....your eyes."

Hair started growing out of his face, and when he opened his mouth, there were fangs. I let out one, loud shriek and Scott jerked. He jumped off the bed, and ran into a corner of my room breathing heavily. I pulled my pillow in front of me.

"Oh my god, I'm so so so so sorry," he said walking closer.

I shake my head quickly. "No, no, no, no! Get out! Get out!" I started silently sobbing in my pillow, but when I heard the slam of the window, my sobs became louder. I didn't get any sleep that night.

Stiles:

It was midnight, and I couldn't fall asleep. I tried watching The Vampire Diaries. I tried reading The Fault in Our Stars. I tried listening to 5 Seconds of Summer. Nothing worked. I knew I should get some sleep, but I just couldn't something was not allowing it. I sighed one more time.

'Maybe Stiles is up?' I thought to myself. I took out my phone, and called Stiles. He picked up after the fourth ring.

"Hello?" he questioned. His voice was deep and velvety. So hot.

"Hey, it's me."

"Yeah, I got that from the caller i.d.. What do you need?"

"I couldn't sleep?" I said more like a question. When I called I really didn't think about Stiles, and now I retreat it. "Sorry, you can go back to sleep if you'd like."

"No, no," he hurried, "I can talk."

Isaac:

A knock on my bedroom door woke me from my slumber.

"Who is it?" I groaned turning on the lamp next to my bed.

There was another knock, and the door opened, revealing my boyfriend, of two years, with tears streaming down his face.

"Oh, Isaac," I said rushing towards him nearly suffocating him in a hug. "What happened."

He started mumbling, and I couldn't understand. I led him to my bed.

"Wait here. I'm going to get us some tea."

He nodded and I ran down the stairs as fast as I could without tripping. In mere minutes, I had two cups of tea, and was making my way upstairs.

I passed one cup to Isaac, as I say next to him holding his free hand and rubbing it gently.

"Okay now explain from the beginning. Did your dad hit you again?" I asked fearful. I always try to get Isaac to leave his dad or tell the police, but for some reason he stays.

"I-I-I was at home and I told him my grades," he started crying again, "and he got mad and-and he- he threw a plate at me." He started to hiccup. "Then I ran away. And I was in an alley, and I-I-I," he sobbed. "I think he's dead." I dropped my tea cup on the floor, and pulled Isaac into my chest.

"Oh my god, Isaac." I stayed up the rest of the night comforting Isaac.

Aiden:

It was already midnight, and Aiden said he would be home by eleven. I was getting worried. Aiden had left my house around 10:30 saying he had to go fight. I begged him to stay, but he had no choice. He knew Deucalion would do anything to make him regret not going, and Aiden didn't want to take the chance of me getting hurt.

I was pacing the length of my room, groaning every once and a while. Not having anything else to do, I decided to eat away my worries. I walked into my kitchen and grabbed the tub of vanilla ice cream, that was in the fridge. I grabbed my lucky spoon, and sat on the couch. I flipped on Netflix, and began watching Psych. Best show ever, but I could hardly pay attention.

Worry was eating away my stomach, and I had a feeling something went wrong. I was nervous and wanted to call Aiden, but I knew that was dangerous. If only he would just call me to tell me everything's okay.

It was as if some higher deity heard me, and my cell phone rang.

"Hello?" I gasped out.

"Y/N," a voice asked carefully.

"Ethan?" Why was Ethan on Aiden's phone... unless something happened to Aiden. "What happened? Where's Aiden?"

"Listen, Aiden he's- he's"

"No! He can't be. Please tell me he's not dead," I was about to start sobbing. "Ethan, please!"

"He's not dead," I sighed in relief. "But he might be soon."

"What do you mean?"

"You just need to get here quick. Deaton says he might have a way to save him."

"Might?"

"Just hurry!"

And I really didn't want to kill Aiden because of the last episode. Oh my god, I was almost sobbing. But I'm happy Season 4 is starting soon!!!!!

Just listening to 5 Seconds of Summer while writing this. Their new EP is finally out in America. No. 1! But yeah hope this was enjoyable.
