Chapter Fourteen- awake, not dreaming
Beep beep beep beep
I couldn’t understand what was going on, I heard this annoying sound; there were never any sounds in the basement.
Beep beep beep beep
I could smell someone different here… wait I could smell and hear two different people… which wasn’t a bad thing but I felt different, I felt good, no pain at all but I was very hungry.
Beep beep beep beep
Slowly I began opening my eyes and was met with a room I didn’t remember being in, and the two people I hadn’t seen in a long time, ten years to be exactly.
Beep beep beep beep
I wasn’t sure what was going on but I did the only thing I could think of doing.
Beep beep beep beep
I cried.
It was completely rational, Seth had finally done so much damage that I was hallucinating, thinking of people that would never rescue me, rescue my children. Sitting up swiftly I looked wildly around the room, searching for my children.
Ignoring the machines near me worried about something brand new now.
They are at my hospital, you were in surgery I had to get Chris before you died Rainy, I heard Logan in my head and that brought on a new fresh wave of tears.
“This, this is real?”
“Y-you really came for me?”
“Of course, I never gave up Rainy, not ever…” he whispered.
Are they okay? I asked Logan knowing he would know whom I was speaking about.
Yeah, they had surgery and I had them all placed in the same room with each other, so that they wouldn’t be afraid he answered.
No men right? They don’t like that… I replied.
No men Rainy…
The room was quiet, turning to my left slowly I saw Chris, my mate.
Neither of us spoke, I want to go see the kids I mind linked Logan.
Are you going to tell him? Logan questioned
Still looking at Chris I just nodded my head, it was still quiet and slowly Logan put my hand down and left the room.
