Me and Hayes are best friends. We do everything together. I've had a crush on him for a long time, but I don't think he feels the same way. He always flirts with me, but I think it's just in a friendly way.

We were in the couch watching 'ESPN' when he suddenly cut the tv off. That's surprising because Hayes doesn't stop watching football for anybody. But, I can't blame him, football is amazing.

"Is something wrong Hayes?" I asked concerned.

"I can't do it anymore." He said.

"Can't do what?" I asked. I'm really concerned now.

"I can't be friends with you! I love you! I've loved you since the first time I saw you. You make me so happy. I love the way your eyes light up when you hear the word 'Nutella', I love how happy you get when you perfect a pass when we're playing football. I love how you share my love in sports, I love how you play all types of sports. I love you. Courtnee, please be my girlfriend?" He asked.

I've waited for that for a long time.

"Yes." I said, then I did something that shocked me.

I kissed him.
