Chapter 8   

(The Past)

Tyler's PoV

"Dun ka nga pala sa guestroom matutulog. Opposite lang nitong room ko. Kung may kailangan ka, katukin mo lang ako or i-text mo nalang ako. So. . .tsupi!"

'Ang bait talaga ng babaeng ito. Wala naman akong masabi. Atat pa talaga siyang paalisin ako.'

"Okay, thanks."

Lumabas na ako sa kwarto niya, at pumunta na ako sa kwartong tinutukoy nya. .

"Hhmm. . nice room.."

Umupo muna ako sa kama. I was planning to take a shower, but I forgot to bring some spare clothes.

"Makapag-facebook na nga lang muna."

Pare nagawa ko na yung mission ko. Sa tingin ko wala namang nakakita sakin kanina kaya mukhang successful naman. . Tinanong kita kay Anna nina pero mukhang badtrip sya sayo. . haha. . ano nanaman ba kasing ginawa mo? Di talaga kita maintindihan minsan.  .

Thanks pare. .Lagi namang naiinis yun sakin. .haha. . Im beginning to change my ways, but I guess, old habits die hard. . .Anyway, sabihin mo lang sakin anytime kung may kailangan ka at ako naman ang gagawa ng favor para sayo.

Actually, I owe my life to Enzo. Nung 3rd year highschool ako, nalaman namin na meron pala akong Heart disease, and I need a heart transplant immediately. Kung hindi, I'll die in a week.

My parents never told anyone, because they believed that I'll survive no matter what, so no reason to make it a big deal.

4 days after I was diagnosed, wala pa kaming nahahanap na heart donor. My parents are getting worried and they are beggining to feel hopeless. Suddenly, sinabi ng doctor na meron na daw possible donor pero parang nagdadalawang isip pa yung parents kung idodonate nga nila yung puso ng anak nila, so we waited for their decision.

On the 5th day, a good news came. The doctor said that I can be operated any time of the day, kasi daw pumayag na yung magulang nung may ari ng puso na i-donate yung heart ng anak nila. Someone convinced them, and that was Enzo.

Enzo is the fiance of the girl who owned the heart.They were chidhood friends. And their engagement was an arranged one. But they we're really in-love with each other, so it's a perfect match. Arranged or not, they would have wanted to be with each other's company.

Her name was Sophia. She died in a car accident.  Enzo was the one who convinced her parents to donate her heart kasi before she died, she told Enzo na kapag namatay daw sya, gusto nya idonate lahat ng pwede nyang i-donate na parte ng katawan nya. At least daw, kahit mamatay siya, someone will live because of her, so dying will be worth it. 

The operation was successful. After I was discharged from the hospital, inalam ko kung sino ba yung Enzo na tinutukoy nila. I went personally to his house to thank him. He said it was nothing. That he did it for the promise he made with Sophia.

So technically, I owe my second life to Enzo. Kasi kung hindi nya kinausap yung parents ni Sophia, I would have been dead by now. And because of that, I made a promise to him and to myself, that whatever favor he'll ask of me in the future, I'll do it for him.

No if's and No but's. Whatever it is, I'll do it!

End of flashback. .

"Update ko nga muna status ko."

--In a girl's house right now and no spare clothes to change into. . Should I just walk naked around the house? Lol--

'Bahala na silang mag-isip kung anong ibig sabihin nyan.'

*Knock! knock! knock!

"Ano naman kaya'ng kailangan ni Baboy sa ganitong oras ng gabi?"

Opens the door. . .

"Oh ayan! Don't even think of walking naked around the house or else I'll throw you out. With or without clothes!"

*Boogsh!

Pagkatapos nyang magsalita, bigla din niyang hinila yung pinto pasara.

'Ni hindi man lang ako hinintay makapagsalita? Ugaling baboy din talaga sya minsan.'

Pero kahit ganyan yan, love ko yan.

Yes. I do like her.

Actually matagal na. Natatakot lang akong manligaw officially kasi pakiramdam ko wala naman syang gusto sakin.

Hindi totoo yung sinabi ko sakanya kanina sa Restaurant na dun ko dinadala ang girlfriends ko. I had a girlfriend, but that was in highschool. It's more of like a flirt. There's a woman I bring there all the time. . . .

My mom.

I always tease her and act as if I dont like her, Because I'm afraid that if she knows, she'll feel awkward, at baka lumayo lang sya sakin.

I dont want that. NEVER!

Tinignan ko kung ano ba yung damit na tinapon niya sa mukha ko.

Navy blue pajama and a white tee. .

'It's a guy's clothes.'

"Where did she get these??Sigurado ako na wala silang kasamang lalake dito kaya. .  . ibig bang sabihin. . . .

.

.

.

May pinatulog na syang lalake dito?????"

'Aiisshh!! Pinapasakit nya ang batok ko! Kanino ba tong mga damit na to??'
