Phoebe’s POV

Two weeks after…

“Good morning Mommy”, masayang bati ko kay Mommy sa telepono. After the New Year ay tumulak na si Kuya sa States.

Aside sa pagtungo ni Kuya sa States ay naging sobrang happy ako during the holiday Season.

Especially on Mico’s special day.

We just stayed in his favorite place until dawn. Nagkasya lang kami sa pag-upo sa loob ng kanyang sasakyan which he opens the roof para daw makita namin ang mga bituin.

Then when it strikes 4 ay nagsimba na kami in the earliest mass. Not minding na pareho kaming walang bihis at walang tulog.

Hindi ko nga alam kong saan ko kinuha ang lakas ko para hindi ako antukin during the mass, but later on when I look at Mico’s face, I immediately know the answer.

Dahil kasama ko si Mico.

Then we went home at six at natulog sa magkaibang kwarto baka kasi matotohanan namin ang sabi ni Tito James.

When I woke around 11 ay nasorpresa ako when I discovered na nandun sina Kuya, Ate Sam, Keith, Mikee and other Mico’s teammates.

Bigla ngang nagulo ang tahimik na bahay nina Mico and thankfully ay tinantanan din ako ni Sir Rex dahil siguro alam niya na aalis na ako.

We spent the whole afternoon together at gustuhin ko man o hindi ay kinailangan na naming umuwi.

But Mico promised me that he will spent his New Year with us.

And he did.

He seems so happy but I sensed that night that there is something wrong especially when he talked to me after we eat.

Flashback

“Happy New Year Paz”, bati sa akin ni Mico habang magkatabi kaming nanunuod ng fireworks display.

“Happy New Year Nog-nog, thank you for making my 2013 wonderful”, I smiled at him.

“Same to you Paz”, sabi niya pero napansin kong medyo natigilan siya.

“Paz I want you to trust me okay? Whatever happens Paz please trust me”, dahil siguro sa pagsusumamo niya ay napatango na lang ako and he gave me the tightest hug he had ever given to me.

End of flashback…

After that incident ay wala na kaming communication sa isa’t isa since hindi naman talaga siya mahilig magtext. Pero on the other hand ay pwede naman niyang akong tawagan pero wala akong natanggap kahit ni isang tawag sa kanya.
