Hi guys,

Thank you for reading The Night That Changed everyhing. I've put a lot of effort into it for over a year now and to all the readers that have been with me from the beginning, this has been an amazing journey and I love you all and thank you for being so dedicated and supporting it.

I'm in the process of re-writing some chapters and editing the whole story so sorry if some chapters are a little rubbish.

I hope that you enjoy and feel free to comment your opinion whatever it is and if you like it, please vote or simply just keep on reading!

I love you and thank you, I would never have imagined that this story that came to my mind one day would be so successful. Once again thank you and enjoy!

A mild touch of sunlight caressed my skin as it coaxed me from deep sleep to wakefulness. I extended my long, slender arms blearily; distant memories of last night swimming lazily in my head, but just out of reach. The room remained silent and I tried to absorb its serenity, but a deafening thud pulsated from all directions inside of my cloudy and confused head, as it chased away the last remnants of a nightmare. I groaned and buried my head deep into the pillow, fighting the explosion that was bursting inside as I fought for more sleep. I felt somewhere in between three hours of sleep and death. My eyes unwillingly cracked open, my eyelids heavy and swollen as they squinted against the dark sunlight that floated across the room. My body extended beneath the duvet and it felt different, I felt a little sore. My stomach was tight and my muscles – jeez, it felt like I had just finished a ten mile run without doing any exercise or training in my entire life. I looked around the blurry, unfamiliar environment as the surroundings finally fell into place, leading my eyes to widen in fear as the world seemed to fall still. Recofnition suddenly dawned that I was not in my room, and I was definitley not in my own bed.

A snore echoed beside me and my body froze, leading a creeping chill to grip my heart. Holy Hell, who was that? I bit back the shriek that swelled at the back of my throat, but it was unmovable, a lump that was harder to breathe past than I would have liked. I gripped onto the sheets and stared up at the ceiling wide eyed as the drummer inside of my chest pounded a melody in my ear, crazier than any normal song. Holding what left I had of my breath, I turned to face the stranger beside me and a fraction of my clenched heart relaxed as I saw that he was lost in sleep. He was facing me and I took the opportunity to examine him. His face was striking, clear, tan skin, a straight nose where a few freckles hid and his long, sand coloured eyelashes rested against his skin as he remained lost in his slumber. His sculpted lips briefly parted as he inhaled a grasp of air and he looked young and innocent in his sleep, his shiny and clean blond hair a glorious mess as it draped across his forehead. Well at least he isn’t a hairy forty year old man with a beer belly. I tore my eyes away from him and closed them, ignoring all of the possibilities that were running riot through my head and turned to God, praying a silent prayer of hope.

Moments passed and I laid there still, listening to emptiness as I tried to make sense of the situation that has occurred or was occurring. Millions of thoughts began to run through my mind as I tried to recall the night’s events whilst trying to remember how exactly I had ended up in this stranger’s rather comfortable bed. My heart stopped as the scariest thought of all fills my mind, what if I’ve been kidnapped and raped? My eyes flew open as I attempted a scream, but my pounding headache got the better of me which lead me to close my eyes in frustration.
