CHAPTER 14

Dear Jaime,
​Auror training isn't as easy as you think, it's like the Tri-Wizard Games allover again, but without the dragons and you under water. It's like everyday Ron and I would come home bruised, with broken bones or bleeding. But I wouldn't change a single thing, It's great here and we're doing great, all of us, Ron, Nevil and I.
How's Hogwarts? How are you? How's Hermoine and Ginny and Hagrid? Are you still having nightmares? Are you doing all right? Please tell me everything.

P.S. Noctua's getting a bit moody, he's been pecking me non-stop. Maybe give him some treats or ask Hagrid about him.

Jaime chuckled at Harry's letter, it has been a month since she heard from Harry and was getting a bit worried, she would write to him non-stop and would ask him about his Auror training, she even told her owl, Noctua, to peck Harry if he won't write back. Jaime quickly got out her quill and ink and some parchment and started her letter back to Harry.
While in the middle of her letter, Ginny came out of their dorm and saw the letter from Harry.

"I see Harry finally answered your letters." Ginny said.

"Yeah, he did." Jaime said, her eyes never leaving her parchment and her hand not stopping from writing, "By the way, he has a letter for you and Hermoine as well."

"Really? Where?" Ginny asked.

"Here." Jaime pointed at the letters beside her letter. Ginny quickly took her letter, she tore open the letter and read the letter. Jaime chuckled at Ginny's actions, she was that excited to read a letter from Harry. After finishing her letter, Jaime got up and gathered her things.

"I'm just going to get to the Owlery and have Noctua get this to Harry, Ginny." Jaime said.

"Yeah, sure." Ginny said, "See you later at Potions!"

"Yeah, see you later!" Jaime said.

Jaime arrived at the Owlery and looked for her Owl, Noctua, a Great Horned Owl with great loyalty to his owner. Jaime found Noctua in one of the nests, he was just done feeding on his dead mouse, Jaime went to Noctua and greeted him.

"Hey, boy, ready for a little flying?" Jaime said, Noctua pumped out his chest and stretched his gigantic wings, "Good, I need you to get this to Harry, alright?" Noctua gave his owner a little look got out of his nest and went to the window, Jaime gave Noctua the letter and Noctua placed it between his beak, after giving Jaime one last look he flew away.

"Didn't expect to see you here, Jaime."

Jaime turned and saw Draco, he had his Eagle Owl on his shoulder, it was carrying a letter. Must be from his mother, Jaime thought.

"Hey, Draco." Jaime said, she just watched Draco take the letter from his Eagle Owl and hide it inside his pocket, his owl went to a nest and closed its eyes "Aren't you going to read that?"

Draco shrugged and said, "I'll do it later... what are you doing here anyway?"

"Just have Noctua send a letter to Harry." Jaime said.

"Oh." Was all Draco said.

"Are we going to have another session today, Professor?" Jaime chuckled.

Draco chuckled as well, "Unfortunately we don't, Slytherin has Quidditch practice – next week is our game against Ravenclaw, need to get ready."

"Well I hope you win." Jaime said.

"That's the first – Jaime Potter cheering for Slytherin to win, what you put a bet?" Draco joked. Jaime rolled her eyes at Draco, "I don't bet Draco – and is it wrong to wish a friend luck?"
