Damian Wayne x reader

Y/n's pov

       "Princess? Princess Y/n? are you awake?" asked a servant, I let out a small groan and sat up, I ran my fingers through my messy bed hair "I'm awake now," I said, the door opened and several maids came in, Father too came in. 

       He gave me a disapproving look "Y/n, the King of Dragonclaw and his son is coming over for dinner tonight," said Father "why?" I asked, I am currently getting my hair brushed by my maids, "you're 17 Y/n, old enough for marriage," I choked "MARRIAGE!?" I repeated "yes marriage, the King's son is the best choice for you," Father said "but Father," I began "no buts, Y/n, once you marry him you will be happy understand?" Father growled "yes, Father," I said softly "good," he said and left. 

       My maids helped me into a silky laced f/c dress with matching flats. After that, I rushed off to meet Damian Wayne, not only is he my only peasant friend but my lover as well. I spotted him waiting for me with his sword on his back, he's a knight in training but I believe he should be a knight immediately when I first saw him fight.

Flashback

       Father and I are returning from visiting an old friend of Father, the banner men are  behind us while the Kings guard surrounded us. An arrow hit one of the men, my horse reared back in panic. I was thrown off my horse "Princess!" one of the men shouted, our attackers ran towards us, "Father!" I screamed desperately looking for Father, the Kings guard and the banner men are fighting, Father is too busy fighting them off. 

       Someone grabbed me and tossed me onto a horse "FATHER!!" I screamed "Y/N!" Father shouted, that's when the horse reared back, both myself and my capture fell off the horse, a boy no older than myself stood there with his sword drawn out, "let her go," he growled, my capture pulled out his own sword and both engaged in a sword fight. 

       The boy knocked my attacker down, his pressed the tip to my attacker's neck, "p-please! I have a family!" he pleaded "they can't survive without me!" the boy pulled his sword away "get out of here," the boy said, my attacker scrambled up to his feet and ran. 

       The boy sheathed his sword and helped me up "are you alright?" he asked, his forest green eyes meeting my own e/c ones, "yes, thank you," I said "Princess!" a guard shouted, he stopped his horse and mounted off, "are you alright, Princess?" he asked "yes, this young man saved me," I said smiling at my hero, "it's all in a days work," he said giving me a small smile, Father pulled up, he hugged me tightly, "thank the gods, Y/n, if I had lost you I would be so lost," Father mumbled "you," Father said looking at the boy "thank you for saving my daughter," said Father "how can I repay you? Anything you wish," the boy looked at me, "I wish to become a knight,"

Flashback over

       I smiled as I ran to Damian, he caught me and spun me around making me squeal. He placed me down and kissed me hard "hello beloved," he greeted me "and hello to you, my prince," I said with a giggle, Damian smiled "I am no prince, Y/n, you know that," he said "I don't care, you are my prince to my eyes," I said, I rested my head against Damian's broad shoulder, "you will always be my prince," I said softly. 

       Damian placed a hand on my waist while the other is placed on my back, "what did I do to deserve you?" he asked softly, I looked up at him, "you saved my life, Damian, your bravery and courage caused me to fall in love with you," I said "and I fell in love with you because of your kindness, intelligence, and generous," Damian said softly "and because of your beauty," "of course you fell in love with me because of my beauty," I said with a giggle. 

       Damian smiled and kissed me slowly and passionately, I happily kissed back. 

       "Damian," I mumbled between a kiss "what is it beloved?" Damian asked before kissing me again, he backed me up to the wall and kissed me even harder. 

        "Damian, I'm soon to be married to the prince of Dragonclaw," Damian tensed and pulled away "I do not wish to marry him," I said "when?" asked Damian "I do not know when but I know it is soon," I said "Damian, do not say anything to my father, do not beg for the engagement to be broken or he will find out and send you away by force, you could get beheaded too!" I said, fear started taking over, Damian grabbed my hands before I started hyperventilating, "hush beloved, it will be fine," he said softly "please, calm yourself," I took a deep breath and calmed down, "what are we going to do?" I asked "we can always run away," I stared at him "and if we are caught?" I asked "I will take the blame," Damian said "Damian, no! I won't let you," I said, Damian kissed me again, "if we do run away my father is a lord and he will protect us, he understands how important love is," Damian went on "will you come with me?" I looked at him, "what are the risks?" I asked "getting caught, a risk of you losing your head, getting married to a man I barely even know and love, and war," I said "I don't want to take those risks," I said "so you are willing to marry the prince of Dragonclaw?" Damian asked "by the gods no!" I said "I want you and you alone," I said "then come with me," Damian said "we can leave today at sunset, I know the path to take us back to my father in 3 days," I bit my lip, "Y/n, we will never have the life we want. Please," Damian begged "how do I leave?" I asked looking at him. 

       A smile appeared on Damian's face "here's the plan," he said and so, the plan was made. I will be leaving Costoras, the name Princess Y/n is just a tale, a story, my name will be Y/n Wayne, wife of Lord Damian Wayne. I just hope Damian's plan will work.

This idea has been nagging me for a long time and I cannot choose who should be the prince so I choose Damian. Yes I will be doing a part 2 so be patient and yes, I changed the title to DC Comics One Shot so you can request other characters too! enjoy!
