So, you all know what today is. For all of us I know that 9/11 is a big deal to us, but not huge because some (maybe most) weren't there. But, we need to respect the lives and the families lost that day. My parents were in Manhattan, they worked only blocks away from the towers. They saw them fall. They lost contact with each other, and they were both so scared. They moved to Massachusetts because of the fear they felt that day. My mum was pregnant, in the city, watching fire and police run around, afraid that my father died.
For this story, 9/11 has a huge impact on Cici because her parents were both killed in the attack. As the date approaches in the story, you'll see more and more of the affect on Cici and her life.
