~The next day~
*Cici's P.O.V*

"Cecilia Louisa Rodriguez, we're leaving!"
It was Febuary 15th, Grammy's day. The cast was meeting at the Richard Rodgers early in the morning (seven in the morning, ugh) and they would have breakfast together, hang out, practice, eat lunch, hang out, more practicing, and diner then preparations for the show, and then the show.
The theater would open up around six, before the performance, and there would be people watching us at the Richard Rodgers in New York, then it would be broadcasted live to Los Angeles, where people would watch.
I pulled on some clothes, a blue dress, a black cardigan, black tights, black ankle boots and blue stud earrings.
"Ceci, mija, we have to go." Lin insisted.
"Do you think you're gonna win?" I asked Lin as we walked out the door and into the elevator.
"Who knows? I think we will, I like the chances we have. I mean, who doesn't love a hip-hop musical about a founding father, starring me?" Lin joked.
Someone on the street passing by shouted "ME!"
"Ugh, rude!" I laughed. "Who doesn't like Hamilton?"
"Clearly him."
"Are we walking or driving?" I asked, tugging Lin's hand.
"We're in New York, and it's six in the morning. Do you think we're going to get anywhere driving?" Lin replied, pulling me towards the subway station. "Crap, I think it's arriving now, run!"
After a crowded, and very smelly subway ride we arrived near the Drama Bookshop and ran towards the theater. "I need to go to the bookshop later, can I?"
"Maybe." Lin said. "By the way, who were you on the phone with until three in the morning last night?"
"Um, it wasn't until three in the morning, it was one-"
"Big difference."
"Two hours, actually. Anyway, it was Gabe, who, by the way is coming today. You said he could hang backstage."
"Great. I'll have to watch my daughter and a delinquent." Lin joked. "Relax. I'm not implying he's a delinquent. I'm just saying he is because, you are my small child, and I think I have to be protective."
I laughed. "Hey, Jon!"
"Hi, Cici!" Jon shouted, holding the stage door. "Hello, Lin!"
Although Jon wouldn't be on stage (As they were only performing the opening), he decided he would come anyway, especially if they won so that he could come on stage with the cast, we would meet him there.
"Grammys!" I screamed, quickly running across the street, narrowly missing being hit by a taxi.
"HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU NOT TO RUN ACROSS THE STREET LIKE THAT?!" Lin and Jon screamed together.
"Sorry."
Jon sighed. "There are bagels from that place you like in Albany downstairs. The delivery guy is mad because apparently he doesn't do three hour trips, but they're really good."
"Look, bagels!" Jazzy laughed, raising her hands, both holding bagels. She was swinging her hips and bopping around as if there was some music playing in her head.
"The delivery guy won't leave unless we pay one hundred dollars, so, we're trying to scare him away." Anthony whispered in my ear. "Get on my back."
I laughed and hoisted myself up onto Anthony's back, and he started running around giving me a piggy back ride, both of us screaming the words to "The Story of Tonight."
Daveed started spitting out swears, and finally the delivery guy got up.
"Listen, kid. I called the place, and they said they could send you this far with no extra charge, got it?" Lin said. "Now, I'll give you twenty, because I'm very nice, but then you have to leave. I cannot have my singers damaging their voices like this."
The delivery guy scowled and took the money, quickly leaving.
"Okay, Ceci, down, Jazzy, only one bagel, Daveed, stop swearing, and for the love of God, Anthony, stop!" Lin shouted. Anthony quickly ended The Story of Tonight, smiling sheepishly.
"What is happening down here?" A new voice asked, coming into view.
"Javi!" I grinned. "Lin-Lin, look, it's Javi."
Lin laughed at my morning childish antics.
"Hola, cosita loca." Javi laughed, pulling me into a hug and kissing my head. "Excited to win a Grammy?"
"I'm not winning anything, you guys are." I said, grabbing another bagel.
By nine thirty everyone arrived, and we were all lounging around and eating whatever food people brought.
Lin could barely sit because of the number of people who needed him. Actors, people setting up cameras, and fans trying to get in before the show.
"Okay, Ceci, you're in charge for a few." Lin sighed, collapsing on the chair next to me. "I need a twenty minute power nap. Go deal with the fans in the theater."
"For real?" I asked, standing up.
"Please." Lin whispered, closing his eyes. I thought he was delirious, but decided to go anyway.
"Okay, so I'm taking over for Lin for the next twenty minutes, come at me with questions!"

{Hola cosita loca would translate to Hello, little crazy thing. When you add -ita to the end of a word it means little, and is sometimes used as a term of endearment. xxAv}
