I was crying uncontrollably, as Dylan banged on the window, begging me not to go.
"Ms. West?" Jules asked.
I looked at Dylan through the tainted glass.
I feel like dying from the pain.
"Take my hand, and I swear to you, I will never let go," he said.
He said the same thing to me that night at the cabin.
More tears rolled down my cheeks at the memory.

"Are you sure?" Jules asked.

I looked at Dylan through the window.

I nodded. "Take me out of here."
"Katherine! Don't do this," Dylan begged.
The car started moving.
Dylan continued to yell and chase after me, running beside the car, as he continued to bang on the window.

I shook with tears.

I opened my eyes.
His words ringing in my head. His promises speaking to my heart, begging me to listen.

"Stop!" I said loudly. "Stop the car!" I ordered.
"Katherine?"
"I'm sorry. I can't go through with this. I'm sorry, Jules. I have to go back. I have to go back to him," I said. "Let me out. Please," I said.
"I don't think so," he said.

"You'll get there faster if we drive you back," he said with a smile.
I laughed softly. "Thank you," I breathed.
