You didn't know her.
That's what was the worst part.
She had black hair, and red lips.
Even covered in blood she was still beautiful.
You heard whispers, rumors, of her name.
Elizabeth.
She died not knowing anything about you, but died for you regardless.
Being stuck in Rapture was difficult already, but what made it even worse was being an Adam filled child.
You feared the man that was so close to ending her life.
Here she sat smiling at you with a loving smile. Much like a mother to their child.
She didn't say anything just held out her hand.
It had a doll head.
You didn't care about the doll at the moment.
She had your attention.
You weren't afraid of her anymore.
She saved you.
She didn't even know you.
You held her hand as she continued to smile at you.
You felt tears prick at the corners of your eyes.
'She gave everything,' you thought.
A tear rolled down your cheek.
Elizabeth gave a small chuckle, and wiped the tear off your cheek.
She inhaled deeply before speaking, "it's okay [Name] don't worry about me a new life is ahead of you just be patient."
More tears feel down your face as she closed her eyes, and her breathing stopped.
You gently went down onto your knees, and quietly sobbed into her side.
