Honey's POV
Days past, and I woke up to see that it was my birthday.
Jay: good morning, baby girl.
Me: have you figured out what today is?
He shook his head.
Me: oh...
Jay: breakfast?
Me: I'm not hungry...
I couldn't help but feel disappointed. Today's my birthday!
Me: off to school I go...
I forced a smile and went to my first period class. Science math.
Just as I entered, I heard pops. I squeaked in surprise.
Class: happy birthday!
My jaw dropped open. There was a cake, there were balloons, and ask the other birthday stuff.
Me: you guys... did this for me?
All the heads went bobbing up and down.
Me: but how did you know?
Jade: Carson.
I looked at Carson. He had a shy smile, and I couldn't help but run to him and hug him.
Me: you're the best!
Carson chuckled.
Carson: as a thank you, will you celebrate your birthday with me?
Me: duh!
Our teacher came in, and we all sat down. I got my phone and texted Jay.
Me: hey Jay... I'm gonna be out with a couple of friends, okay? Love ya!
I as I pressed send, my phone was taken away. And I was told to get it at the end of the day.
Jason's POV
My phone rang. A text... from Baby?
Honey: hey Jay... I'm gonna be out with a couple of friends, okay? Love ya!
What? I replied.
Me: what do you mean? I don't even know what today is.
I sent and looked at Honey's teddy. It had a pocket...? I opened the zipper and found a ring. There was a blue diamond shaped like a heart sitting on top of it. What the heck? I checked my phone. no text. I tried again.
Me: babe? Have fun.. okay? Just talk to me....? I love you.
Honey's POV
The day went a lot like the other past days. Except for random people telling me happy birthday. As soon as I finished my last period, Sean's car pulled up. I waved.
Me: how are you liking the car?
Kenan: it's awesome!
I laughed.
Sean: happy birthday, nie.
Me: aww... you remembered! If only my boyfriend will...
I mumbled the last part. He didn't hear it, as far as I'm concerned.
Kenan: yea! Happy birthday!
Sean: we have presents...?
He handed me two boxes. one was big, and the other was tiny.
Kenan: open the pink huge box first! It's mine!
I carefully opened it and found a couple Xbox game. Mostly, ones I didn't have. I smiled, and it wasn't forced.
