Hey guys! So being the EXTREMELY clever person that I am *note the sarcasm*, I haven't broke the rest of my story into chapters. When posting this one it was almost 7 pages long on a word document meaning even more on here. So the next few scenes have had to be split up even though its happening in the same place. Anyway hope you enjoy!

Lots of Loki love from me!

Only when she reached the courtyard, did Laila stop running. She’d never run so fast in her life. Her breaths came out in short puffs, illuminated by the frost in the air and beads of sweat trickled down the side of her face, providing a welcomed cooling sensation. She glanced around the courtyard, its dark pillars towering above her, blocking out the light that fought to shine through. Continuing forward, Laila listened for any sound of company whilst finding somewhere to wait for Thor. Suddenly the sound of voices could be heard coming from beyond one of the pillars. Laila froze for a moment in fear before instincts kicked in and she sprinted to the nearest shadowed area and waited in anticipation. As the voices neared she was able to hear the conversation of the two individuals. Laila decided to listen to see if she could get any news of Loki. The two individuals did not seem to know that they were being listened to and did not quieten their conversation. One began to speak

“You really have disappointed me you know. I only want to remind you who you truly are. There’s no point in living in the past.” He spoke matter-of-factly. The other individual took a while to reply. Laila noted that they seemed to be having a struggle with something as their breath was rasped and their voice breathless yet riled

“Don’t play that game with me Laufy. You know damn well that i have no intention of staying here. As I’ve already told you, I’ll never stop fighting you.” They rasped. Laila froze. She knew that voice. That was the voice that she had been longing to hear for months. Quickly, she covered her mouth to stop herself from screaming with joy. He’s alive. Thank the gods, he’s alive. She thought to herself. It was Loki. For months they had been separated and now he was only round the corner. Tears of happiness pricked her eyes as she continued to eavesdrop into their conversation. It seems Laufy was losing his patience

“You may have her spirit now Loki but soon her spirit shall be mine. In fact why don’t we actually speak to her? She is here after all.” Laufy spoke into the deserted area “Come out, come out! We know you’re here! You might as well show yourself.” He laughed maliciously. Laila felt her heart stop in her chest. He had known the whole time she thought to herself as she peered around the pillar to get a quick look at the pair. She saw Laufy glancing around the courtyard, looking for her but she was unable to see Loki who was hidden by a frost giant guard. Laufy suddenly flicked his eyes over to Laila’s direction. Laila hid back behind the pillar quickly, her heart pumping hard in her chest. She heard Laufy huff in satisfaction “Look’s like your lover doesn’t want to show herself after all.” He spoke to Laufy with a mocking tone. Loki laughed and Laila’s heart jumped a little,

“I’m not surprised. I’m not sure i would want to face you either. Just looking at you could turn anyone into stone.” He ridiculed. Laila felt the uneasiness hang the air like a blanket. Eventually Laufy spoke again

“Right, I’ve had enough.” He spat at the prince. Laila peered again around the pillar and saw Laufy produce a dagger from his side. Her eyes widened with shock at the dagger. It’s poised blade dulled by the distinctive stain of past blood. Its handle covered with black markings. Laila turned away; a sick feeling of horror filled the pit of her stomach. She dreaded Laufy’s intentions. Laufy once again glanced around the silent courtyard

“Come out now princess. I am not afraid to kill him.” His perturbed tone rang out through the abandoned courtyard. Even though he did not speak his name, Laila knew who he meant. Her eyes darted nervously around the courtyard as she contemplated her decisions. Whilst doing so she heard a small laugh of satisfaction come from Laufy’s direction. He spoke coldly to Loki “Well I am most disappointed. I thought love could over power everything but obviously I was wrong.” He spat. Laila heard Loki breathe a sigh of relief before he replied with a loathing tone

“I don’t care. Kill me if you want Laufy but I will die a happy man; the knowledge that she will never be in danger of you brings me great joy considering how I will die. Go ahead. Do it.” He almost begged. Laila began to shake violently behind the pillar. Loki wanted to die for her; to assure her safety. Laila shook her head, tears falling down her pale cheeks. Her heart had decided what to do before her mind had time to disagree. Laufy laughed again

“I will enjoy killing you. You have bought nothing but trouble to my home. I thought I could change you. Make you the monster you once were. It seems I was blinded by these dreams; I couldn’t see who you truly were. Asgardian scum! So high and mighty with your golden armour and your vain personalities. You will never belong here! Never!” Laufy raised the dagger high above his head, his hand shaking slightly. Loki looked up at his father, hate flowing through his veins and flashing through his eyes. He smiled darkly,

“Do it.” His quiet voice echoed around the place. He lowered his head again, a sign of acceptance of his fate.

Ooh my very first cliffhanger! (I think) So what do you think?

YOU PATHETIC MORTALS SHALL SPEAK YOUR MIND ON THIS TALE, DOWN BELOW OR I SHALL USE MY SORCERY TO SLAY YOU ALL!

-_-   Sorry guys. Loki stole my laptop.

Anyway yes. Please comment, vote, read, enjoy! Not in the right order but you get the idea anyway ;)

Much love
