Oh yes, I also want apologise for my comment on the last chapter, just in case any of you guys thought it was slightly creepy to say 'OMG GUYS I LOVE YOU'. So yeah. Sorry. But yeah. No Loki in this one (I know I said there would be but turns out I was wrong. He's in the next one though ;) ) Enjoy this chapter!

Lots of Loki love from me!

Laila woke up with a start. Her breath became ragged as she tried to get her breathing under control. The dream, or rather nightmare, had felt so real. So painful. For a second she forgot where she was but then she remembered. She was in Loki’s chambers. She remembered a banquet the night before and seeing Loki’s empty seat.

I must have ran into here’ she thought to herself. Shaking the memories out of her head, she went to get up and walk to the bathroom when an excruciating pain shot through her back. Laila gasped in shock at the pain before grabbing the curtains for support. The sudden weight gain on the fabric sent the curtains tumbling to the floor, taking Laila with it. A huge clattering sound rang through the eerie chamber. Laila’s body remained still on the tiled floor, unable to move. She shuddered as a series of agonising pain hit her back like the thrashings of a whip. It was unbearable. She attempted to get up again by lifting a shaky hand to the nearest piece of furniture she could feel and began to pull herself up when another set of shots hit her, causing her to collapse to the floor once again, pulling the glass of water, which sat on top of the furniture, with her. Glass smashed everywhere as Laila screamed out in pain. She could not bear the pain any longer. Within moments, a maid had entered the chambers and gasped in horror at the state that Laila was in. Quickly she hurried over to assist the wounded princess

“Miss! Miss, what’s wrong?! What happened?!” the maid asked in fear. Laila’s breath became short as she struggled to answer

“Alice! My...back...Please...help me.” She whispered through teary eyes. Alice nodded

“What do you want me to do?” she asked, gaining control of the situation. Laila signalled to the bed

“Get...me...there.” she croaked. Once again Alice nodded in understanding and walked around Laila’s body so she could grip under the princess’ arms. Together they both made their way back to Loki’s bed. Just as they reached the mattress Laila shrieked as more pain tore through her body. Alice encouraged the princess to carry on

“Come on miss! You’re almost there! Just a little further!" She said, desperation growing in her voice. Laila stayed where she was, paralysed by the agony coursing through her spine. Gently put down Laila’s arm, Alice ran to the entrance of the chambers.

“Help! Someone please help!” she shouted, praying someone would hear her cries. Sure enough Thor, Odin and Frigga came running from their own chambers. They reached the entrance of the chambers and Thor addressed the situation

“What’s wrong? What’s happened?” he asked worriedly. Alice replied with fear in her voice

“It’s the princess Laila, Master Thor. She’s in great pain and cannot move from her position on the floor. She keeps screaming. I don’t know what’s wrong with her.” Thor nodded before striding past Alice and hurrying into the room. He saw Laila on the floor almost immediately. He quickly hurried to her side

“Laila what’s wrong? How did this happen?” He asked. Laila’s body shuddered before she could reply

"Thor, it’s Loki. I saw him; in my dreams.  He’s...he’s hurting. They’re torturing him. We have...to help.” She glanced at Thor and Thor noticed the agony in her eyes. He nodded signalling that she didn’t have to speak anymore, before calming her with his voice, hoping it would make it easier for her
