"The day you were born," You could hear your mother's voice in your mind. Your real mother. What happened on the day you were born?
Of course, you were born at 5pm on what your mother recalled as a normal day. Your heart started to hurt slowly as you recalled the memories of your family, the family that no longer existed.
So I really don't exist then, aye? you thought to what seemed like yourself.
That would explain being in Amelia Pond's body, your old soul but just in a different body. But what about the adventures you and the Doctor had had?
Was that even real or was that just an escape from reality?
You sat on your bed, covering your ears with your hands, you needed complete silence. Silence to think.
Silence.
That's when the tallies appeared on the wall.
No, no, this can't be happening. Time was fast forwarding way too soon.
Five hundred and twenty eight tallies your mind counted even though you were trying to ignore it.
Why would the Doctor put you through this? Why were you there the day the Cyberman wrecked your town? Why didn't they kill you off as well? Because a crazy man with an adventurous atomsphere came to save you.
But was he really real?
