"Happy Birthday to you!" We sung as we gathered around Kate at the table.

"Make a wish!" Jake yelled standing beside her.

"Horaaayy!" We cheered as she blew out the candles.

*achoo!*

Everyone looked in my direction as I held my babygirl.

She moved her head so she could see. "Sorry," She blushed.

"It's alright sweetie," Kate smiled sympathetically.

Jade seemed to catch the flu during the week which has made her very tired. I rubbed her back soothingly.

"What did you wish for?" Jake asked.

"It's a secret," She winked.

"Can you tell me?"

"It wouldn't be a secret if I told you, my darling," She laughed ruffling his hair.

"But I won't tell anyone," He pouted with wide eyes.

We all laughed. Persistent one, he is.

"Jake, baby, it's a secret, it won't come true if she tells you," Justin stepped in with a stern voice.

"Sorry, Aunty K," He pouted crossing his arms, walking over to Justin.

"It's okay,"

"Mum, can you cut the cake now?" Kieran asked.

"Of course," She said before grabbing the knife in her hand.

"Don't touch the bottom!" Alex chuckled.

As soon as he said that Kate cut through the bottom.

"Awww! Now you have to kiss the nearest boy," He grinned.

She looked beside her to see Kieran right next to her.

"Come here baby!" She laughed, bringing her hands to grab Kieran.

"No mumma!" Kieran yelled embarrassed trying to get away.

We all laughed.

"Alright, who wants cake?" She asked as she started cutting the chocolate goodness into pieces.

Two 'yes's came from the two boys now standing beside her.

"Not too much for Jake, please, he'll have a sugar rush," Justin said.

"Aww daddy, I wanted a big piece," Jake whined.

Justin shook his head. "No baby,"

Jake whined again, giving Justin a hard time.

"Jake, stop, be lucky we're allowing you cake after 8," I said still rubbing my babygirl's back as she cough.

He huffed and sat down at the table.
