Jason's POV
"Adam, have you been keeping something from me?" I asked.
"I-uh...see ya!" he called out, bolting across the park. I ran after him, but right before I left the park, I bumped into someone, causing us both to fall.
"Ow. Sorry." I moaned looking down.
"I-I should have been looking where I was going myself." a female voice answered.
I looked up and gasped. This girl, she...
"Whoa! You look exactly like me! Except that you're a boy. Obviously, I'M not a boy." the girl laughed.
Yup. Exactly.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"I could ask you the same question." she smirked.
"I asked you first." I argued.
"You sound like a five year old." she teased.
"You sound 14. Thinking you're big and bad and stuff." I teased back.
She started to fake cry. "Wow. I've never been called...14 before. Rude!"
I laughed, getting up.
"Well, I've got to find my friend, he ran off and If I don't find him he'll do something stupid." I sighed. "Same with me! We should look together." she said.
"Well, alright." I replied. We walked in silence for the next 10 minutes.
"Jace." she suddenly muttered.
"Jace?" I asked, confused. "It's my name. I never answered your question." she explained.
"My name's Jason." I said.
"That's a cool name." Jace smiled. "But yours is so...original." I laughed, gesturing my hands like spongebob.

We spent another few moments in awkward silence. "So...your friend...what's she like?" I asked, trying to break the tension.
"Skylar? She's loud, daring, funny. And a great friend."
I nodded. Sounds pretty much like my friend, Sky."
