ANDY'S P.O.V.

I sighed, answered while getting up from the couch and started walking from one side to the other of the living room.

– Hey Scout, what's up babe? – I looked out the corner of my eye at Iris; she was staring at her feet with no expression.

– Andy, how was your day? – I heard a happily Scout from the other side of the line said – you promised me you were gonna call me when you got there – she was so childish when she wanted to.

– I know, but I forgot, I was having fun, sorry Scout – in that moment I didn't want to talk to her, I just wanted to hug Iris and never let her go from my side...life sucked. I loved Scout but, I didn't know if what I felt about Iris was stronger...I was so lost.

– Are you saying you didn't remember to call your lovely girlfriend because you were with the guys having fun? Andy, do you really think that's fair? I was worried about you – she sounded sad, but I knew it was a fake sadness.

– Okay Scout, I will be more considered next time, I promise, goodbye – I really didn't want to talk to her at all.

– Bye bye, I love yo- – I hang out before she could even finish. I was tired of all her fake smiles, and fake “I love you” .

I sat down again on the couch, resting my back and staring at the ceiling. Iris was looking at me, I knew it.

An uncomfortable silence surrounded us for a few minutes until she spoke.

– So, how is Scout? – I glanced at her, she was trying not to look sad, but she was a bad liar.

But, wait, if she was sad because of me and Scout, did that mean she felt something for me? I didn't know why, but I wanted to jump and scream and do anything to get off me all the happiness that I had suddenly in my body.

– She's fine, she called because I didn't remember to phone her when we arrived here, she was worried – No smile on my face, just a bored expression.

– Are you having problems with her? You don't look exactly...happy – her voice was so quiet in that moment that I barely heard it.

– Well, she's great, but we are different, and I don't know if I love her like before...I'm thinking in splitting out with her... – I was looking at Jinxx's guitar in that moment.

– Ohh... – she said and then again, the silence.

– Can I use one of your guitars? – I questioned, pointing to the wall.

– You better use mine, those aren't tuned – she replied, then got up from the couch and went upstairs, coming back seconds later with a white guitar...I'd seen that instrument before...It was like the one we used for “Knives and Pens”!

– Oh my god, too much time without seeing this guitar – I smiled, forgetting about everything else.

IRIS' P.O.V.

I was lost in his blue eyes when, suddenly, a solo from a guitar sounded. I jumped a little in my spot, looking at him.

Andy sighed, he didn't look too happy with that call...and it was who? Scout, surprise!

That girl was too lucky for having Andy as boyfriend. I didn't know what to do so I just stared at my converses, examining the drawings I'd done years ago in the white part. I felt my heart dying in that moment.

– Hey Scout, what's up babe? – Andy said with a not-so-happy voice as it should be when you talk to the person you love.

He walked from one side to the other of the room, listening to what she was saying, I guess.

– I know, but I just forgot, I was having fun, sorry Scout – at least he was having fun with me, I supposed.

I continued looking at my shoes. I'd drawn a pair of wings in the left part, and in the rest of the white part you could read the words “fallen angel”. I knew it was a stupid thing but I liked it.

– Okay Scout, I'll be more considered next time, I promise, goodbye – he hang out immediately after he said that and I heard Scout's voice saying something but she couldn't end it.

He sat down again next to me; I just looked up at him. He looked tired...an awkward silence filled the room until I broke it.

– So, how is Scout? – he glanced at me, I was trying not to look sad.

– She's fine, she called because I forgot to phone her when we arrived here, she was worried – No smile on his face, just a bored expression.

– Are you having problems with her? You don't look exactly...happy – I didn't want to seem gossip, I was just trying to know why  he was so serious in that moment.

– Well, she's great, but we are different, and I don't know if I love her like I used to...I'm thinking in splitting out with her... – he was looking at Jinxx's guitar, that was my favorite one from the wall.

– Ohh... – I said and then again, the silence.

That meant I had an opportunity with him if he broke up with Scout. I didn't want her to get hurt but I...

– Can I use one of your guitars? – he said, pointing to the wall and making me come from my thoughts.

– You better use mine, those aren't tuned – I replied, then got up from the couch and went upstairs, coming back seconds later with my white guitar.

– Oh my god, too much time without seeing this guitar – he smiled and I did too because of his gorgeous smirk.

– Yes, when I saw it in the video I just couldn't resist it and I bought it from your ex-guitarist – I didn't know how my voice sounded in that moment, just like a crazy collector? – I love this guitar – I was smiling a lot that day.

– Yeah, me too, it's really cool – he looked at it as if the guitar brought some good memories to his mind.

– Okay, this might sound as if I were a crazy fan but could you sign it for me, please? – I asked excited.

He giggled and nodded, taking the black permanent and signing it. I was so happy in that moment. Then, he blew it a little bit and started playing “Carolyn”.

My body was going to melt. He couldn't be more sexy right then. Even if he almost didn't have any makeup, just a little bit in the eyes, he was gorgeous.

When he stopped playing and singing he looked at me with his amazing blue eyes – Iris... – he started to say, but we were interrupted by the sound of the door bell.
