Skylar's POV
Today, is February 1st also known as Jesses birthday. I go downstairs and the kids are running around until they see me.
" really you guys? You could of gotten hurt. " I say.
" but, we didn't" Stacie says.
" out of all things you could of gotten from your dad you just had to get the cockiness didn't you" I reply walking into the kitchen.
I feel someone grab me. I turn around and kick the person down onto the ground only to see Jesse.
" OMG I'm so sorry baby" I say.
" I guess I should of known not to sneak up on you" he says and I help him up.
" I'm so so so sorry baby. But, um I've got to go. I'm taking the kids to my parents " I reply.
" its fine honestly, here let me take them " he says.
" okay" I reply.
He leaves and takes the kids to my parents
( around 6 a clock)
" babe, let's go " Jesse says.
" to where?" I ask.
" I have a surprise for you" he says.
" what do I have to wear?" I ask.
" just wear sweats or whatever" he says.
" alright" I reply.
I put on my jogging pants, a tank top with my jacket and boots.
We, get in the car and we leave.
We end up at the beach and I look at him.
" babe, why are we at the beach?" I ask.
" its a surprise now come on" he says and we get out.
We, then walk towards the beach and there's rocks. Its my favorite place to come since, I lost Amanda.
He then gets on one knee and I put my hand over my mouth.
" Skylar, your the one for me. I couldn't imagine my life without you. I've never loved anyone more then you. We've been through a lot together. We, have our ups and downs but, who doesn't? I want to grow old with you. So, Skylar Mae Evans will you make me the happiest man alive and do the honor of becoming my wife? Will you marry me ?" He asks.
" Yes! Totally... A thousands times yes" I reply.
He puts the ring on my ring finger and he kisses me. This is just like him. Its his birthday and he proposes to me. He's so sweet.
Our family and friends then come out.
" Congrats baby girl..." My dad says and hugs me.
" Congrats sis" Monica and Ryan say.
" Auntie Skye!!!!!" Bentley yells and all the kids come running and tackle me down pulling Jesse down with us.
" Hey, what's up Buddy?" I ask.
" I'm so happy for you!!!" He says and I smile.
" thanks Benny. Your mom and I are both engaged now. You happy that your moms happy now?" I ask.
" yup!" He says.
Maci, got engaged last month.
" Uncle Jesse, if you hurt aunt Skye I will hurt you!" Bentley says and I smile and laugh.
