Aliyah P.O.V.

"You're here! I've been waiting on you to get here." I chuckled, pulling my bag up on my shoulder as I stepped inside Marcus' house.

"Here I am, how was school today?" I closed the door behind myself, locking it. "It was good, we got ten extra minutes of free time, so I drew a extra picture for someone special." I lifted a brow, following her into the living room.

"Someone special? Does this special person have a name?" A huge smile spread across her face, as she nodded her head.

"Mhmm."

I sat down on the couch, letting her sit down beside me. "Okay, well spill, what's the boy's name?"

She giggled a little before speaking. "His name is Christopher." I smirked. "Christopher? That's a cute name, did he like the picture you gave him?" She shrugged.

"I haven't gave it to him yet."

"Well why not?"

"Because." She started. "I didn't see him today, I won't see him until tommorow morning....hopefully."

I frowned a little. "He wasn't at school today?" She shook her head. "He doesn't go to my school.....he's older than me.....he's a real man."

My eyes widened, taken back by what she was saying. "And how much older is he exactly?" She paused for a second, fiddiling with her fingers.

".....Just a few years.....he's your age." My eyes widend even more. "You have a crush on somebody in high school? Does Marcus know??"

She nodded. "Yeah I think so, I told him I was gunna marry Chris, but he said that I was too young and that I wasn't allowed to like boys." She mumbled the last part, folding her arms across her chest.

My frown faded away, once I started putting the pieces together. "Oh, you like Chris, Marcus' friend?"

She nodded. "Mhmmm, he sooooo cute, don't you think so?" I chuckled. "I guess, but I see you have a thing for older guys." I nudged her a little, causing her to laugh.

"No, just Chris, he's perfect." I chuckled again, shaking my head. "Right."

She reached for her backpack that was sitting behind her on the couch and unzipped it.

"I drew him a picture the other day, so Im gunna give him the one I drew today, tommorow morning when Marcus picks him up, you think he'll like it?"

She pulled out a piece of construction paper and handed it to me. I looked down at the squiggly picture she had drew of her, and what I assumed to be Chris, with hearts everywhere.

I smiled. "Yeah, I think he'll love it."

"Good, thanks." She said, taking her drawing out of my hands. "Your welcome, but what did you have to talk to me about? I made sure I got here early so Marcus couldn't hear us."

She put her drawing back in her bag and sat it behind her before turning to me. "His birthday is coming up in a few weeks."

I frowned a little. "Who? Marcus?"

She nodded. "Mhm, and I was gunna get him a present, but he told me not too....but I still wanna get him something."

"Did you have anything in mind?" She shook her head. "No....I was gunna ask you what I should get him."

I nodded slowly. "Oh....."

"Yeah, I was thinking about making him something in class, since I don't have any money, but I wasn't sure."
