Life was good. Life was great. I made a video with Matt today, uploaded and got lots of views. I was happy, doing good. Until today I found out that the boys are going on tour in less than a week.

I don't know how I didn't notice this, but I was trying to find a house before they went on tour. I haven't done a single thing in effort to that.

So, in the span of two hours I realize I will have:

- no home

- no job

- no friends

- no boyfriend

What a good list. I know Anne wouldn't just throw me out, but I really didn't want to be here any longer than needed. I didn't want to annoy everybody and my be able to help with bills.

Matt is still here, so I currently couldn't cry about my boyfriend going on tour for who knows how long without seeing him again, along with my best friends. I, once again, pushed a thought to the back of my mind and ignored it. So now reality is kicking me in the face.

"Everybody thinks we're really funny. Of course, the photo booth challenge is never not funny." Matt laughed, admiring the comments on our video, looking at my laptop.

"Yeah." I sniffled. "Here's your phone back."

"Oh, thanks." He said, sitting up and closing my laptop. "So I was thinking we could go out for a late lunch?"

"Sure." I nodded.

"I know a good seafood place."

"I don't like seafood." I frowned.

"Who are you?"

"Eli." I laughed.

"God, okay. How about steak?" He suggested.

"Now we're talkin '." I smiled.

"Alright, let's go." He said.

We walked out of the door, getting into his car and starting the drive to the restaurant. It wasn't a long drive, maybe 5 minutes or so.

Matt and I entered through the front door, greeted by a server who then sat us down at a booth.

"This place looks really fancy." I whispered.

"Why're you whispering?" He laughed.

"I feel like I have to when I'm in fancy places."

I looked at the menu, cringing at the prices.

"Matt." I said.

"What?" He asked, looking up from the menu.

"40 dollars. For a steak."

"And two sides." He said.

"Matthew James, this is too expensive." I shook my head.

"I have money." He said, in a mocking tone.

"I don't care, I'm not making you pay this and I'm broke, let's go get tacos or something." I said, standing up.

"Eli, sit back down." He groaned.

"No. Nope. Let's go."

"Jesus, Eli sit down."

"Matt." I said, looking him in the eye.

"Eli."

"Matt."

"We're ready to order!" Matt said, tagging the waitress.

"Oh, okay. What would you like?" She asked.

"We're actually-"

"We'll have two of your biggest sized steaks, cooked medium, with mashed potatoes and a fruit bowl for the side, also can we get a bowl of watermelon salad?" Matt said.
