Devyn's P.O.V.
I look down at my phones screen so I can change the song I was listening to until I notice that I have a new text message from my boyfriend Ben.
Ben😍😘: Hey babe, I was wondering if you wanted to go out tonight?
Me: tonight? It's already almost 6 silly
Ben😍😘: I know, but I really want to get out of the studio & away from the others for a while.
Me: that's fine, what time do you wanna go out?
Ben😍😘: whenever your ready :)
Me: okay well I better start getting ready then :)
Ben😍😘: okay love, just text me when your all ready to go & I'll come pick you up
I smile down at the small screen as I read Ben's message before slowly getting out of my comfy queen sized bed.
I haven't been feeling too good these last couple of days and today I've started to feel worse, much worse. So basically all I've been doing lately is staying home in bed while watching TV or videos of my favorite youtubers on my laptop.
I don't even know why I agreed to go out with Ben tonight since I feel like complete shit, but I don't want to turn him down & disappoint him. And besides, I haven't seen his face in almost a week and I'm starting to miss him terribly....
I let out a sigh as I walk into my bathroom that's in my room and look at myself in the mirror. I scrunch my face up in disgust as I look at my extremely pale face. One look at me, and you could tell immediately that I was sick.
I shake my head and let out another quiet sigh before turning the sink on and start to wash my face off with the cool temperature water. I dry my face off with a small towel before walking back into my bedroom and start to look for a cute outfit to wear for mine & Bens date tonight.
I eventually find a cute black dress with a leather jacket that Ben got me for Christmas to wear along with some black high heeled boots. As I start to take off my comfortable clothes and slip on my cute dress, I start to feel slightly dizzy and nauseous.
I immediately walk over to my bed and sit down on it so I won't accidentally pass out on the floor or anything. I grab my phone that's charging on the nightstand right next to me and see that Ben has left me another text about five minutes ago.
Ben😍😘: you know how I said to text me when your done getting dressed? Well I changed my mind. I'm coming over right now because the guys are getting on my last nerves right now, especially James. I'd rather just wait for you to get ready at your place than here at the studio. So I'm coming over wither you like it or not 😏
I laugh at my stubborn boyfriends message before sending him a quick text back.
Me: okay you weirdo. You have the keys to my house so just come in when you get here.
I set my phone back down on the nightstand before standing back on my feet and finish getting the rest of my outfit and shoes on.
The next thing I do is grab my makeup bag and make my way over to the mirror that's in the corner of my room. I sit on the floor and start to work on my black winged eyeliner. It takes me almost ten minutes to get it done the way I want it too. Eyeliner is a pain in the ass sometimes, but I love eyeliner so it's okay.
By the time I start to apply mascara to my eyelashes I hear my bedroom door open from behind me. I immediately stop doing what I'm doing and turn my body around to face none other than Ben Bruce, aka my sexy ass boyfriend.
"Ben!" I say way too excitedly before standing up again and start to make my way towards him.
"Hey baby girl" he smiles widely at me and opens his arms out so I can walk into his arms.
Just as I'm about to reach him, I start to have this awful feeling in my stomach and I start to feel dizzy all over again. I instantly hunch over in pain and cover my mouth with my left hand.
"Devyn? Are you alright? You don't look so good" Ben asks and looks at me with worried eyes.
I shake my head no as the pain increases and run inside my bathroom and over to the toilet. I immediately throw everything up that's inside me as soon as I'm sitting down on the floor right next to the toilet.
"Devyn! Are you throwing up?" Ben follows me into the bathroom and leans down next to me.
I nod my head slowly and let out a loud sigh as soon as I was done throwing everything up.
"Are you sick?" Ben asks as he moves my blonde hair out of my face.
"Yeah... I haven't been feeling the best these last few days" I shrug my shoulders.
"How come you didn't tell me then? I could have come over to take care of you."
"Because I know you've been busy finishing up Asking Alexandria's new album. I didn't want to bother you Ben" I explain before slowly standing all the way up.
"You should know that you could never bother me Devyn. If your sick, why did you agree to come out with me tonight then? You know you could have said no right? It would have been fine" Ben starts to stand up also before grabbing my hand and leading me back into my bedroom, and over to my large bed.
"Because I didn't want to disappoint you... Besides, I miss you Ben. I wanted to see and be able to hang out with you tonight. I haven't seen you in like a week" I mutter out quietly as I slip off my boots and get under the covers on my bed.
"I've missed you too Devyn, I really have. But you know I could have still came over tonight and just token care of you? We don't have to go out or anything, you do know that right?" Ben studies my face, waiting for my response.
"Umm, I guess so" is all I say.
"Oh Devyn, my sweet little princess" Ben chuckles and shakes his head at me before joining me under the covers.
"I love you, alright?" He whispers into my ear while wrapping his arms around my body.
"I love you too Ben" I give him a small smile and a peck on his soft lips.
"Good. Now what do you say to a long night of movie marathons while cuddling?" Ben gives me his famous grin.
"I say that sounds like a perfect night to me" I reply before Ben grabs the remote and turns Netflix on.
