Dave's P.O.V.
"Hey babe, what do you wanna do tonight?" I ask my girlfriend Alice as she grabs some towels so she can go take a shower.
"I don't know, wanna see what Hayden and Benn are doing? We can all go on a triple date" Alice suggests to me.
"Alright, I'll text them right now and see if they can go" I tell her as she nods her head and disappears into the bathroom.
I grab my phone and send Benn and Hayden a text to see if them and their girlfriends are free tonight.
Once they reply and tell me they'll love to hang out with me and Alice, I see Alice's phone light up, saying that someone has sent her a text.
I usually don't care to look at who my girlfriend is talking to or anything, but I have this sudden urge to read the text message.
One quick glance won't hurt right?
I quickly get out of my seat and grab Alice's phone and see that some guy named Matt texted her.
Matt: hey Alice, I hope your doing good and I can't wait to see you next weekend! It's been a while since we last hung out! I miss you like crazy! And I can't wait to see your adorable face lol 😉 anyways, text me when you get the chance.
Matt? Who the fuck is this dude? And why is Alice even talking to him? And why is she going to be hanging out with him next weekend?
I let out a loud sigh as I place her phone back down on the nightstand and sit back down on the bed.
A few minutes later Alice walks back into the room with a smile on her face.
Her smile turns into a frown once she notices my pissed off expression.
"Dave, are you okay? You seem a little upset" She asks and walks over to me.
"I don't know, you tell me" I say and keep my eyes on hers.
"I have no idea what your talking about...".
"Oh yeah? Why don't you go and check your phone" I say as I grab her phone and hand it to her.
She gives me a confused look before she unlocks her phone and reads the text Matt sent her.
Her face turns into understand meant as to why I'm mad when she finishes reading the message.
"Look David, it's not what it looks like" Alice tells me as she grabs my hand.
"Whatever Alice... Look it's obvious that your not happy with me, because if you were then you wouldn't be cheating on me with someone else. Why didn't you just tell me?" I stand up and move a few steps away from her.
"Because I'm not cheating on you! Matt is just a friend!" She raises her voice at me.
"Are you serious right now? Because I've never heard of this Matt guy before... And he said that he couldn't wait to see your adorable face. What kind of guy says that if he's just your friend? Your clearly lying to me about this Alice" I tell her with a stern look.
"I can't believe your even accusing me of cheating on you! Why would I do that? I don't want to lose you" Alice looks at me with saddened eyes.
"Maybe because the proof was right in front of my face a few minutes ago" I shrug my shoulders and look away from her.
