"Don't worry babe, your going to do just fine" Vic leans down to give me a small kiss on the cheek.
"I know, I'm just really nervous that's all. I mean it is the first show of this tour. Plus my band and I haven't performed in front of these many people before" I tell Vic before he wraps his arms around my small body.
"If it makes you feel any better, I still get nervous before every single show as well. No matter how big, or small the crowd is. It's totally normal to get nervous before a show".
"But what if the crowd doesn't like me and my band? I feel like their going to judge me since I'm your girlfriend-" I start to rant before Vic cuts me off.
"Shannen, we have been dating for three years now. Nobody is going to judge you just because your my girlfriend. And if they do, then their not true fans I guess. Just go out there and have fun, alright? If you keep a positive attitude, I'll guarantee that you'll have a awesome time" Vic assures me before my band's manager walks over to us, to warn me that I have two minutes until I have to go out on stage.
"You'll do fine. I promise. I'll be here waiting for you after you and the band are done performing" Vic gives me a sweet smile before I nod my head, and give him a quick hug.
As I walk on stage, I'm surprised to see that all my other band mates are already positioned on the stage waiting for me.
"Hey guys. For those who don't know me, I'm Shannen and this is my band Heart Shaped Box" I speak out to the crowd before they all start cheering.
"My band and I are new to the music industry so we don't have that many songs out yet. But we will be covering a lot of songs from other bands that we listen to. I hope you guys enjoy" I tell the crowd with a big smile on my face before singing out the first lyrics to "Feels Like Forever" by Of Mice and Men.
Throughout our forty five minute set, the crowd sung along to every song that we played. We performed songs from bands like Sleeping With Sirens, Of Mice and Men, All Time Low, and of course my boyfriends band Pierce The Veil.
To say that I had fun was an understatement. I felt like this was probably the best show that Heart Shaped Box has ever played before.
"You did so amazing Shannen! Did you have fun out there?" Vic greets me as I walk backstage.
"Thanks Vic. And surprisingly I did. I took your advice and had a positive attitude the whole time. The crowd seemed like they were having a great time, which made me feel a lot better and less nervous" I admit to Vic who gives me a "I told you so" look.
"I knew you were. Vic Fuentes is always right, am I right?" Vic asks me with a cocky smile on his face.
"I wouldn't say always, but sure. Whatever you say Vic" I let out a small laugh before he embraces me into another comforting hug.
"I gotta start heading out stage any moment now. Are you going to come out and watch from the side of the stage like you usually do?" Vic asks as he lets me go.
"You know I will, but I do need to go and freshen up a little bit before. I'm a little sweaty from performing" I tell Vic as I start to make my way back to my dressing room, before my boyfriend stops me.
"What's up?" I turn around and give him a confused look.
"I just wanted you to know that I have something planned for us later tonight after the show. And I can't wait for you to find out what it is" Vic tells me with a wide grin on his face.
"Is this like a date or something?".
"Yeah, I guess you could say that. I'm not going to tell you exactly what it is because I want it to be a surprise".
"But why do you need to give me a surprise? There's nothing important coming up" I say getting more curious about this little surprise of his.
"I guess you'll just have to wait and see now won't you?" Vic chuckles before walking away from me, and out to the stage where his band members, and fans are waiting for him.

After about fifteen minutes of me washing my face, changing into new clothes, and putting my hair up in a messy bun, I was finally all ready to go watch Pierce The Veil play their set.
Hopefully I didn't miss anything special happen, though I'm sure I didn't since it has only been less than twenty minutes of the show so far.
Luckily I arrive in the middle of the song "Hold On Till May", which is one of my favorite songs by Pierce The Veil.
Sometimes Vic would have me perform Lindsey Stamey's part of the song with him.
I quietly sing along with the rest of the crowd as a smile appears on my face.
Throughout the night the boys performed songs from their Collide With The Sky album, and older songs like Besitos, Disaserology, and of course Yeah Boy and Doll Face.
The last song they performed was king for a day. The crowd instantly went crazy as they performed that song. I feel like that's the song the crowd always has the most fun rocking out to at every Pierce The Veil concert.
"Alright guys thank you so freaking much for coming out tonight. Sadly that was our last song for the night, but I hoped you guys had as much fun as we did. But before we let you guys go, I have a very special announcement to make" Vic speaks out to the crowd before looking over at me with a smile.
I give him a questioning look before he goes back to speaking.
"I'm sure most of guys know my wonderful girlfriend Shannen from Heart Shaped Box. I'm going to bring her out here on stage with me for a moment, so please welcome here" Vic says before Tony walks over to me.
"Tony, what's going on? What is Vic doing?" I ask him before he tells me "You'll see in a second ".
"Vic, what are you doing?" I ask my boyfriend who still has that wide smile on his face.
"Shannen, I have something really important to ask you. As you know, last month was our three year anniversary of us being together. And I have to say that these last three years have been nothing but perfect. I never thought I would end up with a girl as perfect as you, but I did. I guess you could say I'm a really lucky guy for that. But with each passing day, the more sure I am that your the one true girl for me. I couldn't imagine being with anyone else. I just can't. And I just hope you feel the same about me to" Vic explains to me while looking straight into my eyes.
"I do Vic, you should already know that" I reply while grabbing his free hand that isn't holding the microphone.
"Then I don't think this upcoming question should shock you as much" Vic starts to say as he gets down on one knee and takes out a small box out from his pocket.
My eyes start to widen as I notice there's an engagement ring inside the small box.
"Shannen, will you do me the honor of marrying me and becoming my future wife?".
"Vic.... I don't know what to say. I can't believe this is happening right now. I didn't think this would happen anytime soon. I don't know if I'm ready for this" I tell Vic with tears in my eyes.
"What do you mean? Don't you love me enough to marry me?" Vic looks at me with sad eyes.
"You know I do love you enough Vic. It's just that... I think we're still a little too young to get married. Plus are you sure your ready for this?".
"I've never been more ready before in my life" Vic says while looking confident.
"Then yes Vic Fuentes, I will marry you" I whisper while wrapping my arms around his neck before Vic starts to spin me around.
"Thanks for making me the happiest guy on this planet" Vic smiles as he slips the ring on my finger, and gives me a passionate kiss before everyone around us claps and cheers for us.
