Prologue:
Broken........
Love can leave you broken. It can leave you destroyed and alone. Moreover it can possibly leave you dead on the side of the road, with blood gushing from numerous wound about your body. It can leave you gasping for your last breath, while the metallic liquid is coughed up from your mouth. It leaves you feeling nothing but pain and agony.
My name's Arianne Cooper and I did everything to help my best friend. We've been best friends for years, so when he asked me to help him I immediately said yes. However,through helping out my best friend I fell in love with him. That was a big mistake because in the end, love left me broken. It left me as a shell of myself. Inwardly torturing myself that I could believe in such a lie as love.
To love means to give your all. It means to be there physically and emotionally for the ones you care for. I cared....I loved and now I'm broken all because of a broken love and a pulverized heart.
