"Do you think he'll accidentally activate his powers again?" Megan whispered to Gavin.
He sighed. "Honestly, I think the medication dimmed his powers, but they aren't gone for good. Mr. Grey wiped their memories. It's for their own good, you know?"
Megan nodded. As much as she hated to say it, she was happy Owen didn't know about his powers. He just had to be safe, for all she cares.

In a few weeks, the entire gang is going to mortal school. Kyle wouldn't stop complaining while Rose screamed with excitement when she found out. As for her and Gavin, well they're still a thing. Kyle and Brook are in the 'it's complicated' stage. Then there's Megan and Henry, who was fine with going to mortal school, he's been going all his life.

As for Greystone Orphanage....it's becoming an academy to teach people how to work with their powers. Maybe someday Owen will get to go there. For now, though, his powers will be dimmed to the point where it's unnoticeable. Te drugs will wear off though, and he will selectively remember things that happened. He would remember what happened with Rose and how he bonded with Kyle. He would remember his fluttering heart beat with Megan and his anger with Henry. The experience and the lessons will remain.

Owen is smiling confusedly, right now. Who wouldn't be when a bunch of strangers show up at your house?
Megan wanted to run to him, telling him everything, but she couldn't. It's against the rules. Instead, she sat, twiddling her thumbs. Ever once in a while, she would glance up and smile at him. He was staring at her, and she could hear his thoughts, even if she 'tried' to shut them out.

She liked the thought of him thinking of her as a princess in normal clothes. Anyone around her could see her cheeks go red, but they were too busy staring at normal Owen. Sigh.

They'll miss him, of course. Oh they'll miss him lots. Especially Gavin, believe it or not. Truth he told, everyone loves Owen. What's not to like?

Now the beginning of Owen's life may be ending, he still has more time and a life to live. And, oh what a life it will be.
