As Chaeyoung approached Mina, her heart raced with anticipation, hoping for a chance to finally clear the air between them. She had rehearsed her apology a thousand times in her mind, but now that the moment was upon her, her words felt inadequate.

"Mina" she began tentatively, her voice tinged with nervousness. "I... I wanted to talk to you. About everything."

Mina's gaze remained cold and distant, her arms crossed tightly over her chest as she regarded Chaeyoung with a steely glare.

There was a palpable tension in the air, and Chaeyoung felt the weight of it pressing down on her shoulders like a heavy burden.

"I don't have time for this, Chaeyoung" Mina snapped, her tone sharp and biting. "Whatever you have to say, I'm not interested."

Chaeyoung's heart sank at the harshness of Mina's words, but she refused to back down. She had come too far to let her fear hold her back now.

"I know I messed up" she admitted, her voice trembling with emotion. "But I need you to understand... I never meant to hurt you. I was just confused, and I made a lot of mistakes."

Mina scoffed incredulously, her eyes flashing with anger.

"Confused? Is that supposed to be some kind of excuse?" she spat, her voice dripping with venom. "You knew exactly what you were doing, Chaeyoung. Don't pretend otherwise."

Chaeyoung felt a lump form in her throat as the weight of Mina's accusation settled over her like a heavy shroud. She had hoped for forgiveness, but all she found was condemnation.

"I just... I thought we had something special" she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. "But I guess I was wrong."

Mina's expression softened slightly, a flicker of remorse crossing her features before she quickly masked it with cold indifference.

"We did have something.. FRIENDSHIP" she admitted, her voice barely audible over the hum of the hospital corridor. "But you threw it all away for a fleeting moment of passion. And now... now it's too late."

Chaeyoung felt her heart shatter into a million pieces at Mina's words, the weight of her regret threatening to consume her whole. She had lost the one person who had ever truly mattered to her, and there was no going back.

With a heavy heart, she turned away, her footsteps echoing hollowly against the sterile walls of the hospital corridor as she walked away, leaving behind the shattered remnants of a friendship lost and the echoes of her unspoken regrets.

Sana's heart raced as she pressed herself against the cool surface of the hospital corridor wall, straining to catch every word of the tense exchange between Mina and Chaeyoung. Her mind raced with a jumble of conflicting emotions—anger, betrayal, and a gnawing sense of unease.

"I knew Chaeyoung would have a plan to get Mina away from Y/n" Sana muttered under her breath, her voice barely above a whisper. "But I never imagined she would stoop this low."

With a silent vow to protect her friend at all costs, Sana slipped away from the shadowy alcove and made her way down the corridor, her footsteps light and purposeful.
