"oh my gosh jenny you don't know how
much i missed you," i told jenny, clinging onto her arm

its been years since i've seen jenny in person, touched her, even able to see her without a glitching screen. the time frames in cuba are drastically different

and it was so refreshing, i missed her so much and i was so happy to know that she'd be staying in america

"same," nadia said, clinging to her other arm. i saw jenny roll her eyes but there was a small smile on her face

i was sure she missed us too

jenny's hand went down to her stomach, rubbing it slowly in small circles. "how far along are you?" nadia asked, catching her motion instantly

"and don't tell us in weeks either," i added. it's what all pregnant ladies do and i can't generate that fast enough, sorry

she chuckled before answering. "11 weeks, which is 2 and a half months."

"when is the baby shower?"

"girl ian got the money," jenny replied, rolling her eyes

i rolled my eyes in return. we were at chipotle catching up and she swears she doesn't have any money, yet we could've caught up at home

someone opened the door and i snuggled more into my buckies hoodie. i wore black straight levi's, my gray buckies hoodie, and my converses

jenny was wearing skinny jeans, a t shirt with a longer shirt underneath, and some combat boots. she reminds me of fiona gallagher now, before she dressed like nobody could tell her nothing when it was time to go out

nadia was wearing a black nike sweatshirt and the aeropostale flare leggings, with some black uggs

it was december and freezing. i hated how bipolar georgia weather was, i could never be content with the mood swings

well yes i could

we paid for our food and went to sit down at the tables. i got a burrito to try the vinaigrette, while nadia and jenny got a bowl.

my burrito consisted of what i get in a bowl. brown rice, chicken, pico, green salsa, sour cream, lettuce, cheese, and guac. "so who's the baby daddy?" i asked, getting right into the details

i feel like nadia right now

"girll. his name is devin and ill show you a picture," jenny answered, unfazed by how personal it was

in our trio, there was no secrets.

"black or hispanic? or other?" nadia asked

"black. he was born in america too."

"what was he in cuba for?" i asked curiously

"same as me. cheap schooling."

"what's his occupation?"

"hes an software engineer."

"ooo period!" nadia squealed. "how long did it take to get the visas?"

"a few months, like 4. i wanted to come back anyways. then i got pregnant and it was ensured."

"oo big words."

"no bitch you're just stupid," i told nadia as jenny shoveled food into her mouth. "damn bitch slow down."

"im eating for two remember?"
