YOUR POV

The tent seemed to constrict with Levi's entrance, every movement deliberate. You felt his presence engulfing the space, a tangible tension hanging between you, unspoken yet palpable.

"Hi, I'm sorry...did I wake you?" His voice was a low murmur, hesitant, as if unsure of intruding upon your solitude.

"No, come in," you replied, your own voice betraying a mixture of nerves and anticipation.

Levi moved gracefully, settling behind the cluttered table adorned with your artistic tools. There was an intensity about him, a brooding energy that seemed to emanate from his very core.

"Would you like some tea?" you offered, trying to diffuse the heavy atmosphere that weighed down upon you both.

"No, I... wanted to talk to you," Levi replied, his eyes never wavering from yours.

You took a deep breath, preparing yourself for the conversation that was about to unfold. With a determined gesture, you pulled a chair opposite Levi, settling yourself down and meeting his gaze head-on.

"I spoke with Doctor Keith and he agreed to do the operation, I'm sure he's told you," Levi began, his voice laced with uncertainty.

"He did, actually. I didn't want to intrude by bringing it up... I know it's a lot to process," you admitted, feeling a pang of guilt at the thought of burdening Levi with your own anxieties.

"It's okay, I just wanted to tell you. And...I'm going to get it tomorrow morning," Levi continued, his words hanging in the air between you like a heavy shroud.

Your heart clenched at the realization of Levi undergoing such a risky procedure, but you pushed the fear aside, determined to offer him whatever support you could.

"I understand. I just...wish I knew earlier. I would've spent more time with you these last couple of days," you confessed, your voice barely above a whisper.

A tense silence settled over the room as you both grappled with Levi's impending surgery. But beneath the surface, there was an undeniable electricity crackling between you, a potent mixture of longing and desire that seemed to hang in the air like static.

"I wanted to talk to you about something else," Levi spoke suddenly, his eyes searching yours for some sign of understanding.

Your breath caught in your throat as you waited for him to continue, every nerve in your body thrumming with anticipation.

"I've been hearing things around the camp as of late. Gabi and Falco, too. Some Marleyan refugees have formed a faction, they call themselves The Warriors. They hope to fight the Jaegerists if anything were to happen in Liberio again. Divisions continue to grow here, but people are pretending as if nothing is going on," Levi explained, his words heavy with implication.

A sense of unease settled over you as you absorbed Levi's words, the gravity of the situation weighing heavily on your shoulders.

"Do you think they are planning to actively take Eldian territory?" you asked, your voice barely above a whisper.

"I don't think they have the numbers at the moment, but if they continue to gain influence and power, they might try," Levi replied, his gaze shifting to his hands in his lap.

As you listened to Levi speak, a sense of urgency washed over you, a desperate need to protect what little semblance of peace remained in this fractured world.
