She had lost her parents in the most gruesome way.....she saw them burning in the fire ...right infront of her eyes ...and just like...
We broke our hug much to my dismay becoz of my phone ringing ....
Its veer ...my PA....."take the call ...."she said and went outside ....meanwhile I informed veer that I wont be coming today and he can call me if there's anything needed ....
And I need to do some work before I wrap it up for today ...which can be done even here ...so I simply took my laptop....removed my blazer and began working on it.....
I heard our door open and saw Amara coming inside ....with some books ....or I might add ...novels ...
She reads novels too....wow....she came towards me and sat beside me with her novels ....
And then she shocked me by turning her body sidewards to face mine and then put her legs on mine moving closer to me...

After shocking the shit Outta me...she casually began opening her novel and started reading all the while I was gaping at her feet and her face ...
She then might have felt my gaze on her as she moved her attention back to me.....she looked at me with questioning eyes ...I asked her "when did u get this comfortable with me ?"
She then frowned at me and asked "Aren't u comfortable " and she was about to remove her feet ....I held them immediately declining "no...no...ofcourse not ....I'm comfortable ...it's just that u have never done this earlier ...so I felt bit weird .."
On my clarification she responded with a smirk "Well ...u weren't my "Husband" earlier ...so "
That made my heart flutter ....husband ....she just accepted that I was her husband ....god....she will be the death of me one day ....
She then moved more closer "Now u complete ur work fast ...u need to deal with that old lady ...she will be here anytime soon"...having said that she placed her head on my shoulder shifting her attention back to her book.....
I slowly pinched my hand ...making sure that ...she didnt notice it....to test whether I'm still dreaming or is it really happening .....and it was proved that it's really happening as it pained ....
I then slowly tried to control my heart beat which is going on like crazy and shifted my focus back to the laptop....continued doing my work ....
I didnt know ...how much time passed like that ...but we heard a knock on our door...I thought Amara will move away ....but she looked non chalant as she was still immersed in the novel and didn't make any attempt to move ....
And I didn't want to move her ...come on which husband wouldn't enjoy enjoy when ur wife clinges on u ...certainly not me ...
The door opened and our head maid Suneetha maa came in ....she saw us cleared her throat and coughed ...making Amara snap out of her novel and look at the source of the cough ..she removed her head from my shoulder but still her legs were intact over mine as she asked "Suneetha maa....what bought u here ?"
