Chapter 7

Two weeks later – KıvMer house:

Omer came home. He was under medical observation for two weeks. There's been a lot of testing done to make sure everything is okay. Kıvılcım came to him every day. Metehan visited him as often as he could. Abdullah and Pembe were there several times. Fatih also showed up, but Omer refused a visit.

Kıvılcım: Welcome home darling.

Omer: Thank You. Thank You for everything. [he said this and kissed her]

Metehan: Dad, good to see you home again.

Cimen: Welcome home.

Doga: You're finally home.

Omer: Thank You all. Thank you for being there for me this whole time.

Cimen/Doga: We were worried about you.

Metehan: Me too, dad.

Omer: But I'm here now with you.

They all looked at each other, smiled and hugged. Now the whole family was complete.

Kıvılcım: All right, now let Omer rest.

Metehan: Right.

Omer: I'm not tired.

Doga: You need to get rest.

Omer: Even here, they won't leave me alone. [he laughed]

Kıvılcım: You have to follow the doctor's orders, honey.

Omer: I know. Fine, I'm going to the room.

Cimen: Ok. Do you want something to eat?

Omer: No.

Omer went upstairs to the bedroom. Cimen, Metehan, Doga and Kıvılcım stayed in the living room. They watched TV and talked for a while.

Metehan: Are you sure Dad is all right?

Kıvılcım: Yes Metehan. Everything is fine, don't worry.

Metehan: Great. I'm so happy that he is here with us.

Cimen: Me too. I've missed him so much.

Doga: I've missed him too.

Kıvılcım: We're a family now, and we'll always support each other. Omer's the most important thing now. We have to keep an eye on him.

Doga/Cimen/Metehan: Of course.

Kıvılcım: You guys keep watching the movie, and I'll go see him.

Cimen: Ok, mom.

Doga: Fine.

After a while Kıvılcım was in the bedroom. Omer was asleep. She went up to him and kissed him on the forehead. She looked at him with a smile and went to the bathroom. After a few minutes, she came out and lay down next to him and hugged him.

Omer: You came.

Kıvılcım: I thought you were asleep.

Omer: I can't sleep.

Kıvılcım: What's going on, Omer? Is something hurting you?

Omer: No, calm down my love. I was waiting for you to come.
