It's been a few months. Preparations are underway for Ali's first birthday. Kıvılcım is very excited about this event. She and Omer want this day to be remembered as well as possible. The birthday will be at their house. On this day there will be the whole family of Arslan and Ünal.

Omer: My love, when do you want me to pick up the cake?

Kıvılcım: Cimen will pick it up tonight.

Omer: Okay.

Kıvılcım: Where is Alev?

Alev: In the kitchen!

Kıvılcım: Where are the balloons?

Alev: We're preparing them right now. We will be decorating the living room very soon.

Kıvılcım: Great.

Metehan: We have white balloons and blue balloons. Can they be, or do you want any other colors?

Omer: You can add some light brown balloons.

Metehan: Fine

Cimen: It will look beautiful.

Doga: Our brother will have the best birthday.

Metehan: It's just a pity he won't remember any of it.

Everybody laughed.

Kıvılcım: I'm wondering if I could put next to the balloons a big teddy bear holding the balloons.

Omer: Great idea. I'm sure Ali will like it. [he smile]

Kerem: There's only an inscription left to attach.

Kıvılcım: What inscription?

Omer: I asked the boys to prepare an illuminated sign with our son's name.

Kıvılcım: Really?

Omer: Yes. You will see.

Both Emir and Kerem put an inscription on the wall. They hooked up the wires and turned on the lights. Kıvılcım was delighted.

Kıvılcım: It looks beautiful.

Doga: Definitely.

Metehan: I didn't have anything like that.

Omer: We could do something like that for your birthday.

Metehan: No, I'm too old for that.

Alev: I guess everything is ready.

Kıvılcım: Yes. The cake will be in the evening and everything will be ready.

Alev: Okay.

Kıvılcım: Thank you for your help. These decorations look perfect.

Omer: Thank you. It's gonna be a great day.

Doga: I can't wait.

In the evening, Cimen went with Metehan to pick up the cake from the confectionery. They ordered a three-story cake decorated with bear stickers. The whole cake was covered with light blue and dark blue sugar paste.

Metehan: We are here.

Omer: And? Did you check everything?

Cimen: Yes.

Omer: That's good.

Metehan: The cake is beautiful.

Cimen: I agree. I'm impressed with how precisely every part was made.

Omer: Great! Take him to the kitchen and put him in the fridge.
