"Hey dad!" Ellie smiled picking up the phone. "how are you?
"I'm good, how was school yesterday?" Asked Lucas
"It was boring." She deadpanned "It's Jamie's birthday today though. We're going to his in a minute."
"That'll be fun." Lucas said
"How's Peyton and Sawyer?" Asked Ellie
"There good, Sawyer took her first steps last night." Lucas tells her
"Really?" Asked Ellie. "I miss her."
"She misses you too." Lucas says "and so dose me and Peyton."
"Hey, El, are you almost ready to go?" Asked Brooke walking past.
"Uh, yeah, let me just say by to dad." She said
"I'll be in the car." Brooke tells her.
"I gotta go dad, we're leaving." Ellie says
"No worries, I'll speak to you soon though." Lucas says
"Yeah." Ellie agrees "love you."
"Love you too." Lucas says before hanging up.

Brooke and Ellie arrived at the party a little late, and went inside to meet Haley. Before going out to see Jamie.
"Hey, it's me again. I just thought you might want to wish Jamie a happy birthday. So call me when you get this... or any of the other three messages." Brooke says into the phone, trying to get a hold of Julian. "Okay, bye."
"Okay, we're gonna open presents, do you want to go outside El." Haley says coming into the house "Are you all right?" She adds
"Julian won't answer her calls." Ellie tells Haley as she walks to the door.
"Come on, Mum! Chop, chop!" Jamie yells as Ellie runs out, Haley and Brooke trailing behind.
"Chop, chop?" Asked Haley
"He gets that from me." Brooke says
"The bossiness, too." Haley says
"All right, Jam. Which one's first?" Asked Nathan
"Uncle Lucas." Jamie says reaching forward to grab the present, taking the card of.
"Oh, read the card!" Haley tells him
"Jamie, Peyton and I miss you every day. This present was my best friend until I met your mum." Jamie began reading LI got it from my Uncle Keith when I turned 7, and now I want you to have it. It got me through all kinds of stuff, and I hope it helps you, too. I love you Uncle Lucas."
Jamie opened up the box revealing Lucas's old basketball.
"Cool!" He exclaimed "It's Uncle Lucas' basketball. Check it out, Dad!" He says throwing it to Nate.
"Skills." Jamie says reading out the tag on the next gift.
"Ha, that's what I'm talkin' about, baby." Skills exclaimed
"Awesome! CDs!" Jamie smiles
"Old-school hip-hop. Tupac, Biggie, Run-DMC, a'ight!" Skills tells him
