"What does it say, mama?" Asked Jamie. He, Ellie and Haley stood in front of Quentin graves. Jamie placed his little basketball down in front

"You will soar on wings like eagles. You will run and not grow weary." Haley read out to them.

"Do you think there's basketball in heaven?" Asked Ellie

"I know there is." Haley reassured

"How long has it been?" Added Janie

"Eight days." Haley sighed

"I miss him." Ellie and Jamie said together.

"I miss him to, kids." Haley said sadly putting an arm around them both.

"Come on." She added grabbing both there hands.

"Mama! It's grandpa Dan." Jamie exclaimed as they walked past Dans grace "He's dead!"

"No, buddy, he's not. This is not what it looks like." Haley reassured

"But you all said the people in the cemetery are in heaven, like Quentin." Ellie said confused

"Right, but, uh, some people like to buy their headstones before they die ... like way before. Um, like the backpack that we got you the week before school started. It's like that. Grandpa Dan's just being prepared." Haley tells them

"To die in a week?" Asked Jamie

"No. He's ... he's alive. Grandpa Dan is alive, I promise." Haley replied

"Then can we go see him?" Jamie asked as they walked off.

"This is where grandpa Dan lives?" Jamie asked in awe as as they pulled up at Dans house.

"Yeah, not bad, huh?" Haley tells them as they climb out the car.

"I think you should let him baby-sit." Jamie comments.

"Mama use to let him watch me." Ellie says "that was before he ki...

"Ellie Scott, don't finish that sentence." Haley tells her as they climbed up the stairs.

"How come grandpa isn't picking up his papers?" Asked Jamie as all his mail was by the door

"I don't know, buddy." Haley tells him as he picks up a newspaper.

"Maybe he doesn't like what's in it." Ellie suggests as there was a photo of Quentin on the front.

"Yeah, you're probably right." Haley agrees, knocking on the door. "I don't think he's home, guys." Haley tells them, she reaches for the handle and the door opens. "Hey, will you waiting the car for me?" She asks

"But we wanted to see grandpa Dan." Jamie tells her

"I know, guys. I just need a second." Haley reassured them

"Okay." The two kids sigh, walking back down the stairs to the car.

"Hey, I found your shoplifter." Haley tells Brooke as they stand in the kitchen

"I knew it. That little street urchin does go to tree hill high." Brooke states

"She's just a messed-up kid." Haley tells her

"She's a messed-up kid taking growth hormones." Brooke exclaimed "She knocked me flat on my ass."

"She just transferred here. I think she was probably just looking for a way to impress kids with some new clothes, you know?" Haley asked

"I'll give her points for having good taste." Brooke sighs "just try and keep her away from my store."

"Hey!" Haley suddenly yelled "James Lucas Scott, step away from the mannequin before I come over there and pluck out your eye balls."
