ANDRES' POV

I guess it wasn't so boring about me and Dante's bonding time with Divine. She wasn't bad either. In fact, we both managed to at least have a small conversation with her.

I thought it would be too late for our sister to give her trust to us, but my thoughts were only mistaken as the way her actions spoke weren't lacking manners. At the first part, we, Dante and I, tried to make a conversation with Divine only ending up with an awkward yet non-threatening situation.

Dante barely zone out when it was his time to speak, but often for children. Honestly, if I was to describe him, I wouldn't say that he is not good with children. But the fact that he is not good at being socially active with kids is a good reason for me to explain.

I actually didn't hate her the time she was back. I let my intrusive thoughts speak up instead of my true self. I didn't want to ruin my reputation, and if I ever get close to Divine then I wouldn't be the same anymore.

I love her but staying away would be the best option. My outer self forced me to hate her, hence it would be good for us to just avoid each other. Yet, it was one of the simple things that I did were only to be failed right away.

Even though we didn't regret it, I don't know what will happen next to our future.

Escaping from my thoughts, I sat on a chair as I read Igor's files. Apparently, he has one son standing and his name isn't labeled on the paper, unfortunately. I can only remember how that old guy mentioned about his son who died. Although it clearly says on the folder that he is currently alive.

I assume that there's only two reasons for that to happen. Igor could be hiding him from the society, or it could be because he purposely left him somewhere, but that would be an unlikely situation.

I'll have to ask the guards for another folder about the old, stupid problematic guy. If we ever get to catch his son's full information, then we would have a good reason to kidnap him for now. If he's somewhat actually kicked out, it would be easier for us to take him.

It also might be possible to include Divine's kidnapping situation. One week, after father and Igor's misunderstanding is our sister's birthday, and also the day that she was taken away from us. They could be the reason for it to happen, and I won't let this chance get ruined until I find the truth.

Suddenly, the door opened and I saw Dante and father coming inside. This could be a serious situation as whenever father is with us, anything could go wrong. I could feel it.

"That godd-mn guy knows!" My eyes widen from the confusion. What does Igor know?

"About what, father?"

"Divine. He knows that I have your sister." He gives me a letter and I opened the envelope. Reading the whole paragraph makes me want to burn the whole world.

I gave a gaze to Dante with a threatening look to commit a murder to someone, and we both turned our heads to father at the same time.

"They might break in and take Divine away again. We need to evacuate fast." I nodded my head, agreeing to Dante's statement. I was just about to tidy the paper and files when a loud crash was heard.

"What was that?"

"Downstairs, now."

ENZO'S POV

"Look at you and Divine! Both of you are so cute." My cheeks flush red from feeling mortified, as I feel like a kid having every mothers like mine. Nevertheless, I am glad to have a parent like her.
