Chapter 15: Flora's Courage

Nex started talking with Aisha.
"So, how has life on Andros been?" he asked.
"It's been crazy," Aisha replied. "I would like to talk about it, but I feel like it's not the right time yet."
"I understand. When you feel like you're ready to talk, you know I'm here."
"Thanks." Aisha felt more relaxed around Nex. Maybe I can trust him, she thought.
Flora got up and walked around, looking at the trees that encircled Lymphea College.
"What's wrong, Flora?" Musa asked.
"I have this feeling," Flora replied.
"About what?"
"About this college. It's truly beautiful, but I feel like Valtor will conquer it soon."
Tecna had a flashback to when she was sucked into the Omega portal.

"Remember when I first got my Enchantix? It was a scary experience, being sucked into that Omega portal," Tecna said. "I don't wan to lose any of you girls."
"We don't want to lose you either," Flora replied. "Without you, the club doesn't exist."
"If you mess with one of us, you mess with all of us," Bloom pointed out.
"If Valtor thinks he can get rid of us, then he has another thing coming," Electra snapped. "I HATE losing, especially against a formidable opponent. If we lose against him or lose one of you guys, I swear I will blow up."
Aisha understood where she came from, but said, "Losing is a part of life. You have to rise above defeat. Helia said that winning is when you smile about a defeat and plan vengeance with those who believe in you."
"That is true," Musa replied, "But Electra is right about what she said. We have fought Valtor before, and we have lost to him on some occasions. But that won't happen again. Today is the day that all changes."
"Oh, I'm afraid not," Valtor taunted.
Bloom and Flora shouted, "Enchantix!"

The other six girls shouted, "Pyrix!"

"Get him, girls!" Stella said confidently.
"Phase Changer!" Electra created solid beams of turquoise fluid, sending them at Valtor. He dodged the attacks.
Tecna received an intuition to attack. "Techno Drive!" A stream of lightning and computer code barreled around Valtor, knocking him down. However he got up, moved towards the trees surrounding Lymphea College, and woke them up by reciting an incantation.
Flora gasped. "The trees! They're alive!"
"And they're coming for us!" Musa panicked. "Melodic Reverb!" Short bursts of purple sheet music came from her hands.
"I'll take care of the trees," Stella spoke up, getting her elemental fairy dust ready. "Power of the light of the sun and moon, break this spell, protect this school!" Gold glitter rained down on the trees, returning them to normal.
"Way to go, Stella!" Tecna cheered.
"Let's not celebrate yet," Aisha cautioned. "Look! Flora is battling Valtor."
"Let me help," Nex chimed in. He took out his scepter and shot balls off water at Valtor, but he deflected them, redirecting them toward Aisha.
"Protection of Waves!" Aisha created a water shield to deflect the attack.
"You don't stand a chance," Valtor tantalized. He created a windstorm to trap Flora inside.
Musa tried stopping the wind, but she couldn't.
"Return to Nature!" Flora broke the windstorm with a burst of green magic, but the storm drained her of magic. She lay on the ground.
"Flora! No!" Bloom cried.
Valtor laughed. "The battle is over, and I won!"
Electra was mad. She could feel her face heating up, and her hands were balled up in fists.
Musa gasped. "Look!"
Green flames arose from Flora's heart. She rose up anew, her Pyrix powers in full bloom.

"How do you like me now?" Flora asked Valtor confidently. "Spring Shower!" A green aura enveloped her body. "Ugh!!!" A nature dragon appeared, careening toward the villain.
"Petrification spell!" Valtor countered the spell, petrifying the nature fairy in the process.
Everyone gasped in horror.
"NO!!!" Stella mourned.
"Flora! Can you hear me?" Aisha asked, tears falling from her eyes.
Electra looked at Flora, then at Valtor, and she lost it.
"GRRRRRRRRRRRRRlAAAAA!!!" She punched Valtor in the mouth, indignant at the loss she and the girls faced. He looked back at the girls, then vanished.
"You won't get away with this, Valtor, you pathetic waste of oxygen!" she shouted, seething with anger. "We're going to give you a taste of your own medicine! VENGEAAAAAAAAAAAAANCE!!!"

"Those fairies are furious at you, Valtor," Hecate remarked. "You should be very careful."
"I got it under control," Valtor replied.
"Are you sure? They want to get you back for what you did to Flora."
"They haven't seen anything yet!"

Electra huffed and puffed, completely exhausted.
"You okay, Electra?" Tecna asked.
"No! I'm not okay!" Electra replied. "Valtor left before I could get my hands on him. I swear when I see him again, I will....!!!!!!!"
