Recap of chapter 25:
"Do you believe me?" I questioned.
"Yes..I do." he said without thinking twice.
Awwwww how sweet.
Although that wasn't stuck in my mind because the only thing I could think about was the guys voice and when he said love. Everything he did seemed familiar. From where I don't know.
Chapter 26: EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED
Skye's POV:
"Skye. Skye. Skyeeeeee!" somebody kept on yelling.
"Go away you baboon!" I grumbled back.
"Skye." the person growled out then pulled the blankets off of me.
Next thing I know my closed eye lids are hit with sunlight.
"Uugh." I groaned out.
"Skye get up! This is important!" the person hollered.
Okay this person is really starting to get annoying.Time
To see my intruder.
"Look whoever- ROSE!" I yelled opening my eyes. Only to be met by the horrible sun.
Oh course its rose she wakes me up every morning.
"Skye we got a issue." Rose stated, with a serious glint in her eyes .
Okay this has to be bad. Rose & me are barely ever serious.
Being the alpha's daughters you would have thought we would be serious at all times, but were not.
"Rose." I whispered her name.
She nodded at me to continue.
"What's wrong, is it that a$$hole Tristan?" I questioned.
I swear if he hurt Rose I will take his family jewe-.
"No." she whispered in a slightly dazed voice.
"Then..what is it?" I asked.
"I...I ...I can't just say it Skye we promised each other and now look I'm breaking the promise." Rose said.
"Promise?" I questioned. What promise I don't remember a promise.
"The mate one." she whispered.
~*Flashback*~
"Come on Rose catch me!"
I yelled as I ran around the playground and hid under the slide.
"Skye? Where are you?"
Like I'm gonna tell you that?! Then whats the point of the game! 'thats what I wanted to yell out to Rose but instead I stayed quiet.
5 minutes passed .....then 8 and I was getting bored.
I got out from under the slide and crashed into Rose.
"Found you!" she yelled.
"Hey your a cheater! Grandma could find me faster then you!" I yelled back.
"Well, sorry." she replied sarcastically. She was never the runner.
"What took you so long?" I had questioned.
"Um well you see um I um hadtogotothewashroom!" she had rushed out.
"What's that?"
"I said that I had to go to the washroom."
"Ugghh! You are so stupid! So you went all the way back home?!" I yelled stomping away.
"Yeah" she replied. Catching up to me.
We arrived at the pack house filled with happy couples (mates).
Me and rose went up to her room.
Shutting the door she asked me a question.
"Hey Skye do you ever want to get a mate and be all lovey dovey like everybody downstairs?"
"Eeww I so do not believe in so called love, it's stupid you can't just be made for somebody!"
"Your right, I dont want a mate what about you?"
"Me neither rose"
"Then lets make a promise, when we find our mate we escape. As a team!"
"Forever." I said.
"Together" she replied.
Then we did our funky handshake which we still do today.
•End of flashback•
"Um rose I'm not really getting it here, your putting me at edge. Just spill it." I said getting frustrated.
"I think....I think....um." Rose stuttered.
"Rose!" I yelled. I was getting frustrated. I was never the patient one and seeing Rose so nervous around ME is actually scary.
One tear drop slid down Rose's face.
Okay now what the heck is going on?!
"Skye, I'm sorry." she croaked out.
I just gave her a hug. Knowing that my hugs always comfort her.
Where's Tristan anyways? He's probably out of the house otherwise he would of came in here the time that tear drop dripped down Rose's face.
"It's okay, Rose." I said soothingly.
"No its not, it can't be okay. I'm so so so sorry. I broke that promise." she said. Tears coming down faster.
"What the mate one?" I questioned getting butterflies in my stomach from the nerves.
What about it?
"I'm....i'm.. In love with Tristan." she finally said looking at me waiting for my reaction.
My body tensed up.
I think I heard her wrong.
"What?" I questioned. Am I still sleeping?!
She took a deep breath before saying yet again; "I'm in love with Tristan."
WHAT THE F*CK?!
This is so not what I expected.....
