Chapter 10: Meeting

Their headmaster summoned them to return at the beginning of the third week of August during the second week of August. To return because they have something significant to discuss in the headmaster's office for the new school year beginning in September.

While looking at Mozus Trein, their headmaster, Dire Crowley, informed them of a new professor he had hired.

Mozus Trein has a suggestion for the incoming professor. That was why maybe the headmaster glanced at the humanities curriculum professor. Crowley seemed to have taken his advice.

Divus Crewel, a science curriculum professor, and Ashton Vargas from the P.E. curriculum, and the other teachers are completely unaware of the new professor.

The new Night Raven College teachers eventually arrive. When the door to the headmaster's office opened, they saw a ten-year-old child with light blue hair and light blue eyes. According to Ashton Vargas' estimation, a youngster is 146 centimeters tall. I'm dressed in a three-piece suit. A white suit jacket, black pants, and a dark blue vest are worn. The youngster was dressed in a light blue necktie and brown shoes. He wears rectangular spectacles with a black rims.

Ignoring the other academics, Andersen walks over to Dire Crowley and asks, assuming the open seat next to the headmaster even though there are other unoccupied chairs in the room.

"You called? Your office is crowded; is it a staff meeting, Mr. Headmaster?"

Except for Mozus Trein, the instructors were astonished to hear a man's voice coming from a 10-year-old youngster.

Dire Crowley responded with a smile toward his new professor.

"Specifically, it's a professor's meeting for this year's curriculum and term."

Dire Crowley informed the other academics by looking at them.

"This is Mr. Andersen, the newest professor at Night Raven College, and he will be in charge of teaching the summoning subject as well as the newly returned literature subject."

While examining Andersen, most of the professors remained silent as they listened to Dire Crowley's introduction of the new professor. Some of them couldn't hide their surprise when the headmaster of Night Raven College informed them of the resumption of the literature subject.

There were uncertainties and judgments. There was a reason why literature was deleted from the Night Raven College curriculum. It was deemed unneeded because the children were already in their primary and secondary school years. The majority of the literary stories and tales would have been discussed during those years, and repeating such lectures would result in pupils losing interest in the subject. And the majority of nonfiction prose lessons in literature are part of the history curriculum.

As a result, it was deemed redundant and superfluous.

Seeing the professors' evaluating expressions, Dire Crowley reassures them.

"Nevertheless, rest assured that this year's literature curriculum will be different."

Various files of paper emerged in front of the academics with a wave of his hand. The lecturers then began to read the papers. The majority of them were perplexed by the end of the reading.

" This is, in fact, quite distinct."

According to Mozus Trein. Mozus Trein didn't identify any of the stories and tales in the framework from the beginning to the end of this year's literary topic curriculum.

What exactly is Sherlock Holmes' adventure? The French Revolution, The Epic of Gilgamesh, Anastasia, The Hundred Years War, Little Match Girl, and Cthulhu?

Despite the addition of new lessons to the literature curriculum, Mozus Trein was concerned that the literature topic would face the same problems as his History of Magic subject.

Students' inattention neither his classes prevent them from paying attention and falling asleep in class.

Mozus Trein expressed his worries and waited for the headmaster's reaction. But he was waiting for Andersen's remark in particular. Since he arrived at the headmaster's office, the new professor hasn't spoken anything except to inquire about the staff meeting.

Mozus Trein was waiting for Andersen to show him that he had made the right decision. Aside from being a skilled mage, he hopes that Andersen possesses the qualities of a professor.

Instead of being intimidated by the question, Andersen chuckled and answered confidently.

"It's simple: they would never be bored with my lectures in my class; the tales and stories would be deeply imprinted in their minds, and they would be able to recall them from their minds and hearts."

Andersen unexpectedly summoned a book, much to their surprise.

"And, if you look closely at the outline of my lessons, my future colleagues, the literature subject is listed as academic-practical."

Crowley whispered thoughtfully, his face pensive.

"I was thinking about that, Mr. Andersen; if you made a mistake when passing all of these written lesson outlines,

Andersen sneered, shaking his head.

"Of course, it's not an error. Even though I am a third-rate author, I have a lengthy history of writing and would not make such basic mistakes. It is specified in the outline. That's correct! The literature is both academic and practical."

Ashton Vargas inquired, his face uncertain.

"How would it be practical if all the students did was sit and listen to the lectures?" "Literature will always be an academic subject; calling it practical is an insult; it is not like my subjects where students train their bodies and gain muscle."

Andersen summoned his black feather quill pen with a wave of his hand. When they observed it, the other professors' body postures became stiff. They were all wondering what he had planned to accomplish or if he planning on harming them.

Andersen responds to the professor with a strange fixation on muscles.

"My teaching style would not be me standing at the podium discussing the tales and stories, but rather the students experiencing the tales and stories for themselves."

Andersen grasped the black feather quill pen with a mischievous grin on his face and approached the professor and headmaster.

"Why don't I give you all firsthand experience with my teaching style, which I learned from my previous workplace colleagues?"

Andersen began writing swiftly in his manuscript, without even waiting for the academics or headmaster to respond to his question. Several pages were filled in an instant.

"Good timing, there is no shortage of materials to collect here; keep this in mind every time you fail, [Märchen Meines Lebens]!"

The book began to glow, and everything in the headmaster's office began to shift.
