chapter 15

Arriving back into your apartment, you immediately jumped into the shower to recollect your thoughts

you were a bit overwhelmed with everything that happened. You needed a moment of peace, so you stayed in the shower for an hour. 70% of that time was spent by you just standing underneath the water

you concluded that you'd take a different approach to your training to improve your ability. you had far too many weaknesses that you needed to adjust.

after tonight, the question still lurked in your mind; who was chrollo?

two weeks had now passed. you didn't hear from hisoka, chrollo or illumi. it was like they mutually decided not to speak to you

you did see hisoka here and there wandering around heavens arena, and hearing his apartment door open and close at times.

but no verbal contact. not to mention that you were avoiding him

You made sure to check up on Gon & killua. they were doing perfectly fine. Even better when you bought them lunch a few days ago. they both looked up to you. it truly felt as if they were your long-lost brothers

you took the boys to the mall and bought them whatever they could carry. you wanted to spoil them ever since you received your check from illumi a few days prior. he only sent it in the mail, with no letter or anything of the sort.

today, you were out in your usual spot on the field, training like you promised yourself when you heard your phone ding.

out of breath, you walked over to your phone, picking it up from the grass. it was chrollo. of course, it was.

you hadn't heard from chrollo in two weeks. you were glad to hear from him, but then again, it was a little sudden.

it's a surprise. I'll pick you up at 1.

you didn't exactly like surprises, but you didn't hate them either. you agreed sending chrollo your address and continued training

you stayed out on the field until noon and took a quick shower when you got back home. technically it was your home now. it sure felt like it.
you could move out anytime you wanted due to the check you received from illumi. but you felt comfortable at heavens arena. especially because your fight would be here.

you wore casual clothes, consisting of jogger pants and a hoodie.

chrollo met you in the lobby of Heavens Arena. He wore a tight-fitting grey t-shirt, with black baggy jeans. you also noticed that he still wore a headband across his forehead

"there you are" chrollo greeted

you smiled at him "So, where are we going?"
