" I'm relieved we managed to keep the volunteers under control". Remarked a soldier, taking a sip of his drink.
" Commander Pixis is at the helm; he'll handle it". Replied Nile.
One of the soldiers sneered," Well, typically, it should be us MPs dealing with this...".
Nile sighed," Even if it works out, we owe those volunteers a debt. Turning against them now would be... regrettable".
" Hah ! Sympathizing with Marleyans, Nile ?". Teased another soldier.
" You're clearly quite intoxicated, Roeg". Nile retorted.

Roeg shrugged," Who can say ? Who can fathom the final desires of a man with time running out, especially one who holds sway over our minds ? I always knew it would come to this. We should've stuck to our original plan.
As soon as Zeke reached the island, we should've turned Queen Historia into a Titan, fed him to her, and sealed it with the Chosen One. Instead, we let her roam freely, enjoy herself, have a child with a local she didn't even marry, and allowed the Chosen One to slip into a coma. Honestly... I suppose a commoner could never truly become a queen".
