The relentless Titan finally came to a halt, perching atop one of the rooftops. As I gazed up, my heart raced when I spotted Eren, brandishing his blade menacingly at Bertholdt.
" Don't even think about taking another step! If it means keeping him out of your hands... I'll kill him". Eren declared with a deadly seriousness.
" Eren !". I cried out, my voice echoing through the tension-filled air.
Eren's eyes widened in shock when he spotted me ensnared in the net.
" Izzy ?! No... They...". His voice trailed off, heavy with fear and concern.
However, the man whom the Titan held captive interrupted Eren's thoughts, asking," Are you... Eren Jaeger ?".
I observed a palpable dilemma in Eren's eyes as he pressed his blade even harder against Bertholdt's throat, causing him to bleed. Seeing this as an opportunity, I smiled and hastened my efforts to cut through the damned net.
" You don't look anything like your father". The man stated, catching us both off guard to the point where I almost fumbled my blade like a novice.
" What ?". Eren muttered in disbelief.
" You have to believe me. I know what you're going through. We were both victims of your father... He's brainwashed you". The man explained earnestly.
Brainwashed ? What did that even mean ? I sighed in frustration, deciding to set aside the confusion for now. There was no time to dwell on it.
With determination, I cut the ropes more vigorously and swiftly, nearing the final strands.
" My father...?". Eren exclaimed, his voice trembling with uncertainty.
A sound from above the wall drew my attention, and I couldn't help but smile when I realized who it was.

"What?! There's no way! He chased us all the way here ? What a monster..." The man muttered through gritted teeth.
I couldn't help but scoff," Between you and him, you're the only monster here".
Levi shot the man an angry glare before leaping off the wall, while the man clenched his jaw in frustration.
" Fine... I get it, Levi. We're both too injured. I'll call this a draw. Bertholdt, I'm sorry, but it looks like this is the end for you. Eren, someday... I'll come to save you".
The Titan began moving again, leaping off the roof and snapping the last ropes of the net. I cheered with joy, but my elation was short-lived when I realized that my Vertical Maneuvering Gear was no longer functioning.
The man on the Titan let out a surprised noise, and I heard Eren shout my name in panic. Well, this might hurt. I closed my eyes, anticipating the impact, but instead found myself pressed against a chest. When I opened my eyes, I saw Levi, covered in Titan's blood.
