"We don't need the money to feel good," Nix smirked, her eyes glaring daggers into one of the men who were handcuffed just before her eyes.

"How do you do it?" the chief officer questioned, an amused look on his face as he eyed the two heroes.

"The crime rates in New York used to be so high, we'd usually have to save more than two people or put them in jail on a daily bases," Mark explained, "Being heroes in New York was one of the best field training we could've gotten."

"I can tell," the chief smiled before walking up to the two and shaking hands with them, "You two work very well together, and I hope I get to see you in action more often from now on."

"Thank you, sir. It means a lot coming from you." Navy bowed lightly as a sign of respect, and Mark followed suit. They were finally done with the saving part, but they still had to ensure that the president was as well as he said.

"You two have no need to check up on me anymore, I will make sure to have bodyguards armed from now on as well," the president stated once Navy expressed her concern of a similar attack happening in the near future

"We're like the modern version of Bonnie and Clyde."
