Chapter 73 - Enter! : Warlords

Luffy and I jumped off the edge of the whale ship and went across about half of the frozen bay without a hitch. About ⅓ of the way to Ace.

The first problem we encountered was when Luffy revealed a move I'd seen only once before, called third gear. He inflates his rubber bones to increase impact, though it doesn't look very cool, a little silly if you will.

The marines grouped together to try and stop us, but they were a bunch of small fries, although they successfully slowed us down.

I happened to glance back when I had a chance and smirked at the sight of Buggy wetting himself when Whitebeard recognized him. It made me laugh knowing I was slightly braver than he was.

Jimbei and Ivankov joined us, making the plowing or marines much faster, and we were close to the ledge where the big shots were, making me nervous.

"Deshishi! Straw hat! I won't let you get through!" [Moria]

"Moria?!" [(Y/N)]

"Why's he here?!" [Luffy]

"You're fight's with me, Moria!" [Jimbei]

"Jimbei!" [(Y/N)]

"I can handle you on my own, Moria!" [Jimbei]

I wanted to help him, but I knew we were in a time crunch, so I sucked it up and kept running, Ivankov and Luffy by my side.

Now, onto our second problem...

Before I could react, Luffy got hit in the head with a large Jutte and was sent a few meters back. Him getting hit was the only reason I was able to dodge the next attack.

"Smoker!" I gasped as he kept swinging at me, and I kept dodging.

'Where's that mysterious power when you need it?!'

"We meet again, Straw Hats!" Smoker yelled, sending the edge of his Jutte at me, successfully taking away my devil fruit powers and crushing me with his weight.

"D-Damnit!" I choked, his pressure pushing the air from my lungs.

'H-he's stronger than he was at Alabasta...!'

"(Y/N)!" I heard Luffy call.

Smoker put his foot on my stomach and raised his Jutte, pointed at my chest, "I'm gonna take care of you!"

I put my arms up to block, but I didn't have to.

"You! Let her go!" I heard a familiar princess' voice, and the weight on my chest was lifted, followed by Luffy helping me up from behind.

"Hancock?! What are you doing?! Are you gonna resign from the Warlords, too?!" [Smoker]

"Shut up! I'm deafened by my own anger! How could you hit and pin down my beloved?! I won't let you survive! I have never felt this much anger before! I'm gonna cut you up and feed you to the beasts!" [Malicious Hancock]

"Hancock!" [(Y/N)]

"Y-Yes?!" [Sweet Hancock]

'S-She called my name!' [Hancock]

Hancock's smile dropped, as she barely glanced at the marines, before turning to me and Luffy, putting her hands into a heart, before a small hue of red grew on her cheeks, "I always knew you two would make it here alive." She dropped her hands and pulled something from her shirt, "Here, take this."

What she laid in my hand was...

I jumped up and hugged her as tight as I could, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I cheered as Luffy looked confused as ever, and I heard some gasps from the marines.
