I flew to Qatar to be with Neymar during the World Cup because I know how stressful this time is for him and I don't want him to be alone. It was after Serbia vs Brazil game, Neymar was resting in the hotel room after suffering an ankle injury. Ney had been especially quiet so I broke the ice. "What's going on in that head, meu amore?" I asked while rubbing his chest, he jumped at my words, not expecting them to break the silence. We giggle a bit until he answers "I just want to make you and Davi proud, I feel like I failed my team today." He sighed. My stomach felt like a pit, it hurts me how Neymar thinks he failed. I press a warm kiss to his chest, since my head was lying on his chest, and responded "Oh meu bebê, you did not fail. You did amazing today, me and Davi were so proud Ney." He smiled a bit and inhaled. We sat for a bit in comfortable silence, I reached for my phone texting Carolina and asking if she could bring Davi to our hotel room. Carolina and I are very good friends and I love Davi as well so I invited them to Qatar so Davi could be with Ney.
I heard a knock on the door and calmly got up to open it, leaving Ney confused on the couch in our hotel room. I open the door to reveal Carolina and Davi at the door, Davi rushed through the door "Pai! Pai! Im here!!" He beams. Neymar corrects his positioning on the couch, not being able to jump up because of his ankle, "Davi my son!" He exclaims giving Davi hugs and kisses. I hugged Carolina and told her to go enjoy herself at the spa and we'll take care of Davi for however long so she and her husband could have time for themselves. She winked and kissed me on the cheek and said hello to Ney and left. I joined Davi and Ney on the couch and we all cuddled together.
All the stress left Neymar's mind as his family was happy together and he was able to heal peacefully.
