McKennas POV

I stepped out of the limo that parked right in front of the red carpet I was so nervous this is my first appearance since releasing my song.

"Hey I'll be right here" Paul said as he held out a hand for me to take. The night of the premiere is finally here. I didn't want to go to crazy with my outfit as we were just watching Romeo and Juliet so I decided to wear a leather trench coat, with a black turtle neck and mini skirt, I tied it all together with my heeled sock boots that stopped just below the knees. My hair was down in a wispy blowout with my curtain bangs hanging over my forehead. Considering I didn't have a date, Paul agreed to go with me. Nothing but platonic of course. Cameras flashed from all around me. I heard people chant "Kenna Rae" over and over again. Paul chuckled

"They love you, look at that! your very own fans" I nodded and let out a shakey breath. I continue to walk down the red carpet as people stopped me to take some pictures. As I got to the middle a man with a microphone stopped me.

"Hello how are you! I'm Michael from entertainment tonight,...Wow you look beautiful McKenna" he said as he spoke into the microphone. He must be an interviewer. I smiled

"Thankyou so much" I tried to surpress the anxiety running through my body

"I gotta say we're all so excited to see this film tonight how was it filming for the movie?"

"I know aren't we all" I giggled, I feel like I'm a totally different person to what I am in front of a camera "we filmed for months and months, Baz had a very specific goal for this film so we worked really hard on achieving his ideal Romeo and Juliet. I definitely hope this hard work pays off!"

"Oh of course Baz Luhrmann is an excellent director, I've seen his past movies it's really great how he perceives his outlooks on different plots"

"Yes he's a very hard worker! I don't think I've seen him stop since the filming began but working with him is a huge privilege, I just can't wait for everyone to see his concept on the Shakespeare story" it's really weird talking about you're own father like you barely knew him

"I don't think we can wait any longer" he laughed "so working with Baz was all well in good, how was it working with the Leonardo DiCaprio?" I paused for a second my stomach filled with butterflies

"It was such a pleasure working with Leonardo, he's an exceptional actor I couldnt picture anyone else playing Romeo" I said with a fake smile. If only they knew all the stuff that went down behind the scenes

"Ok here's something we're all dying to know" please no don't say it "there's a rumour going around that you and Leonardo were an item? I mean there's pictures to prove it but we're all dying to know if it's true" I scanned the crowd trying to find Paul. When I finally met his presence he gave me an assuring smile. I took a breath

"Uh well I mean it's all there, the pictures and articles, we were together almost every single day while away for the film. I guess we were so caught up in our roles and the love of Romeo and Juliet shared. Trying to break out of all that love and lust must've became non existent"

"So there's no McKenna and Leonardo?" He asked. I took a long deep breath

"No I hate to say it folks but there's no such thing" I forced a laugh, it really hurt to say it

"You heard it live people" Michael laughed along with me "on a totally different note, you're a singer! You've just released a single and it hit number 1 in our hits" what a relief he's changing the subject

"Yes, I've dreamed of producing music for so long and I've finally been able to go ahead and release my first song earlier this week"

"So you've received a lot of criticism in the past, has things changed now or" I nodded
