Y/Ns POV

I drew with Sally while holding back her version of a horse, jack should be here by no--
"Are you alright (n/n)?" Sally broke me out of my thoughts and just stared at me.
"I'm fine! Say have you seen jack?"
"Oh! He was sad at brunch!!"
"Ah?"
"Nobody knows! They went to Ben's room and talked, I haven't thought of Ben as a comfort friend!!"
"Ohh, alright then."
"Why are you worried? Jack gets sad but it's for reasons!"
"I don't know! Let's just keep drawing!" Is it my fault, we did have an experience that people in this place would call weird and romantic. Hopefully not..
Jack came in and looked at us, Sally looked at him and ran away while giggling.
"Here for your daily check up?"
"You got it!" I lied down while he began to press on my chest and asked me the occasional "Does this hurt?". Barely hurt, so I'll be fine tomorrow.
After, he looked away and sighed, I sat up in worry.
"Is everything alright jack?"
"Y/N, can we stay professional? Only talking kinda?." His breath became shaky.
"What? Why??"
"Don't ask questions, it just can't." He walked away as I felt a small pang in my chest, huh? What the fuck is wrong with him? Wasn't he just sleazy as shit and then suddenly he's nervous.? Some people in this place are just straight up weird.

Jacks POV

Fuck didn't that feel gross inside, I sat down and groan. Dammit slender man, why do we have to go by your rules.
A memory came exact reason, when he first took me in he told me everything.

"Wait why can't we date other people?" I asked curiously while writing down notes.
"It just can't, there will be times I assign someone with someone for a mission for the probability of success. If they get hurt and they are a lover, you will get distracted and that will be the end of it. Your missions always come first-"
"Nothing is more important then that.." I whispered the memory out in a form of a breath.
I sigh and walk to the bathroom to take a bath to clear everything out.

Maya's POV

I knocked on Slendermans office door while fiddling with my hands, reading maskys message has me on an edge for Jack. Sure everyone makes fun of each other, but he needs a partner. Besides its just gonna be about me and masky?--
"Come in Maya." His voice stopped my thoughts and I quickly walked in, while shutting the door behind me.
"Hey Slender, so I wanted to talk to you about me and masky."
"Listening.."
"Hypothetically, if we were to date. Would it be alright? Since we go on missions, I was stabbed in the side where that part is fragile, you know..but he continued on. Sooo??"
"Well I would allow it, since you both proved to be professional at your missions and Cupid doesn't get in the way."
"So all everyone needs to do is prove?"
"That is correct"
"So. YOU NEVER TOLD US?!"
"New rule."
My mouth dropped and furrowed my eye brows as he gave me my missions card and I quickly left, shutting the door behind me. If I were able to date without my issues, we could! Besides I'm not dumb, he sends so much signals that he likes me. I'm just not prepared...

Y/N's POV

"So where was I, in my last entry I talked about Jack. Yes that's his name, I'm currently kidnapped and I hurt myself. My thoughts exactly, Jack took everything wrong, that hug was supposed to be for comfort. But it seems I may have caught feelings too quickly, how does that work exactly? I feel like everything is possible now because these people exist, the paranormal exists. So what is life after, I'm getting ahead of myself. But, Cupid is just an official bitch. I caught feelings too quickly. It's like those soulmates talk, but I don't wanna be a soul mate to a murderer. Jack seems nice, just a massive dickhead with a sleazy attitude. But, living my entire life in hiding, could that just be my route? My adventure? If we didn't move here, we wouldn't meet at all? Ugh, how did this all come down to this.
