We regrouped alongside the commander now waiting for our next orders, I looked out of my Cupola

"Orders Commander?"

"Well..."

Sitting back in my seat, I thought over the commaders orders

"Right, Yume-Chan, please remain in formation until the commander says otherwise."

"Yes ma'am"

Advancing in formation the Type 89 split off to look for the enemy flag tank

"By the way, Sakura, you've done very little training, but you're very accurate as a gunner. Why is that?"

Thinking for a moment, I replied

"I just practice a lot by myself,"

"Oi Yume, why do you call the commander by her first name?"

Asuna asked

"I got permission,"

Yume replied with a smile

"I've run into the enemy flag tank, and they're currently in pursuit!"

"Yume-Chan remain in formation until my signal,"

"Gotcha."

We continued riding forward, stopping in an open area. Looking out of my cupola, I saw the Type 89 alongside the pursuing Sherman, readying my gun. As the Type 89 pulled to the right the Sherman halted, avoiding a shot from me and the Panzer IV. The Sherman then sped off, prompting a chase in which the other tanks kept firing

"Commander, aren't we gonna fire as well?"

Asuna questioned

"On the move, it's a waste of ammunition. There's a slim chance we'll hit and a slimmer chance it won't just ricochet!"

The Sherman fired a round but missed us due to the fact we were all moving.The commander of the Sherman then looked out of the cupola shouting something at us

"We're approaching the target. We will resume our attack in 60 seconds, Fire at will!"

"Halt!"

I yelled as the tank came to a sudden stop

"What's wrong, Sakura?"

"They're planning something... I can sense it. Head through the Forrest on the left and loop back around. "

"Yes, Commander!"

We split off from formation, heading into the Forrest

"Eagle team, what are you doing!"

"Sorry, commander, we're gonna have to split off here!"

I turned off the radio as we peeked through the trees seeing 4 Shermans, including the firefly

"Commander, you were right,"

Asuna yelled

"We're gonna wait until they start pursuing our comrades, then we'll swoop in from behin-"

A shot from the Firefly's 17 Pounder echoed across the battlefield as the Shermans began their pursuit, I turned the radio back on as we began our pursuit

"Eagle team, where are you? Have you been taken out?"

"This is Eagle Team. We are currently in pursuit of the enemy,"

"Wait, wha-?"

The commander began as I turned the radio off

"Match your speed and try and keep directly behind the Firefly. Worst comes to worst we can peel off back into the Forrest"

"Whatever you say,"

Now, following the enemy, I thought about my plan

"They're most likely gonna regroup with the Flag tank. At the next opportunity, I will blast it in the side. We should be able to take it out that way with our current ammunition,"

Still in pursuit, the enemy linked up with the flag tank, which kept to the left

"Yume-Chan, head back into the Forrest, then when they stop, we'll close the gap and fire,"

We pulled to the left discreetly, entering the Forrest while attempting to maintain our secrecy. Turning my radio on, I heard that the IV had stopped at a ridge and was under fire from the Firefly

"Alright Yume-Chan lets exit the Forrest and get that Sherman."

Speeding out of the forrest we took the enemy with surprise ramming into the side of the Flag Tank and firing our cannon, as the flag popped up a shot from the 17 Pounder took out the IV as the battlefield fell silent

"D-did we win?"

Asuna asked me. I sat in shock, realising my plan had worked

"Apparently so."

Now, out of the tank, I came face to face with the commander

"Sakura-Chan, I can't believe your timing!"

The commander smiled as Yukari jumped out of the tank

"Even when presented with a mere 37 mm, you still took out a Sherman."

"I couldn't have done it without my crew."

The enemy commander then walked over

"So that's the tank that took out our flag tank?"

"Yes ma'am"

"With only 3 crew as well?"

I nodded as the commander then spoke to Miho

"That was well played, we hope you win. We'll be cheering you on!"

On our way back to the ship, we all sat near to each other

"I think we did well for our first match,"

Yume said as we all agreed

"Especially taking out the enemy flag tank! You're an absolute beast commander. "

"Oh please, like I said, I couldn't have done it without you all!"

I sat now leaning back in my chair, rather happy about my victory
