Shopping?

I woke up very early in the morning, so early that no one else was awake, sitting up on my bed i rubbed my eyes before getting out of bed, Realising i needed the bathroom I thought back to yesterday

"End of the hall on right"

I muttered quietly opening the door and walking down the hall, I opened the bathroom door and saw a girls reflection in the mirror

"I'm so sorry, I had no idea!"

I didn't get a response, I looked toward the mirror again remembering the girl... was me. I sat down pulling my trousers and underwear down making sure not to look down (for some reason?). Finishing what I had to do I flushed the toilet and pulled my clothes back up exiting the bathroom running into Yoshiko on the way

"Sakura-Chan, would you like to go shopping?"

"I do need some more clothes... But, what does Chan mean?"

"Oh it's a... errmmm, Just a way of shortening someone's name while maintaining formality"

"Oh right"

I followed Yoshiko outside to her car clambering into the passenger seat

"Sakura-Chan, You need to put your seatbelt on"

"Seatbelt?"

Yoshiko pointed to my left, looking over I saw a metal object pulling down and plugging it in. Driving through the streets of the school ship felt quite lonely but eventually we arrived at a clothing store

"Now this store only sells a few items so next time we dock we can get more"

I nodded, As we walked into the store a young woman welcomed us

"Is there anything you need in particular?"

"We're just here for a browse"

Yoshiko led me to the girls section where I was completely out of my depth, I had no clue what to look for or what I needed

"We'll do you like anything?"

"I-I have no clue"

Yoshiko nodded before picking up a grey pair of denim pants and a second blue pair and a few full colour t shirts

"What about these for now?"

I nodded although not particularly loving any of the clothes

"Now it's just the question of underwear"

Yoshiko muttered leading me to the girls underwear section. Now I may have only seen womens underwear a few times in large department stores, but in 77 years it had changed drastically, either that or my mom had oddly specific needs

"What's wrong Sakura-Chan? You've gone red"

"I just Errmmm..."

"There's no reason to be embarrassed, everyone has to buy underwear"

"Can't we skip this for now?"

"And what will you wear?"

"My current undergarments"

Yoshiko was visibly disgusted and so was I but anything was better than the cutesy cotton underwear sets I was staring at

"I'll wash them"

"Fine, but next time we dock you have to buy some and more outfits"

So we paid and left heading back to the house

"How long is it until we hit port?"

"I think it's a few weeks"

"Oh right"

Arriving back in the house I spent the rest of the day laying on my bed bored out of my mind

Time skip imminent probably to the day Karl starts school
